Juno and Muse arrived at the hotel entrance right on time.

Since today was the day the sales results would be announced, Jeremy Jagger had also shown up with a few of his friends.

Juno didn't give him an inch. "Our sales will absolutely crush yours."

Muse snapped her head sideways in shock.

Ralph's facade of politeness instantly crumbled, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. "Arrogance isn't a good look. Even Muse wouldn't dare say something like that to my face."

"Then just wait and see, Mr. Wright."

Juno was entirely unfazed, exuding a terrifying calm.

Ralph scoffed coldly, while Rhiannon's anxiety continued to spike.

A few industry peers came over to congratulate Ralph. Even though his magazine hadn't officially launched yet, they had all clearly crowned him the victor.

"A true industry leader. I have nothing but admiration for you, Mr. Wright."

"Absolutely. Mr. Wright's brilliance hasn't faded a bit." One of them shot Muse a condescending look. "It's a shame that Chief Editor Muse has been struggling to keep that unprofitable magazine afloat for so long. She really should have thrown in the towel and let Ralph Magazine acquire it."

"Makes sense. No point in dragging it out. Sell it now while you can still get a decent price."

"Hahahaha."

Beneath the table, Juno pressed her hand against Muse's, warning her not to react.

Muse couldn't stand it.

One after another, they ground Muse and her magazine into the dirt.

Jeremy suddenly cut in, a playful grin on his face. "Since everyone's gathered here today, why don't we make a little wager?"
