Chapter 71: Visitation-1

Bella pov

“I know, mine told me.” Caleb’s jaw was tight. “But we’ll be there for every visit, they won’t get a moment alone with him.”

“We?” I raised an eyebrow.

“You think I’m letting you face them alone?” His eyes were fierce. “Wherever you go with Tom, I go too. We’re a united front, Bella. In business, in custody court, in everything.”

The intensity of his statement made my breath catch. “The press conference is in five hours.”

“I know, the PR team is ready.” He glanced at his watch. “We should probably talk about what happened yesterday.”

“No, we shouldn’t.” I turned to leave. “We should focus on the business announcement and maintaining professional distance.”

“Bella, you can’t just pretend”

The elevator chimed, cutting him off. Tom’s laughter echoed through the penthouse, and then I heard a voice that made my blood run cold.

“Where’s my sister? Where’s the woman who stole my family?”

Jade.

I ran to the living room to find Jade standing by the elevator, dressed in a white dress that screamed wounded victim, with a photographer behind her.

“Get out,” I said coldly. “You’re not welcome here.”

“I’m here to see my nephew.” Jade’s smile was smug. “The courts say I have visitation rights.”

“You’re violating a restraining order by being here. That’s criminal, not civil.” Caleb voice was cold as he appeared beside me. “Supervised visitation at a family center, not here. And certainly not with a photographer.”

The photographer started snapping pictures, Jade posing with fake tears. “I just want to meet my sister’s child, the baby she hid from everyone.”

“Tom, go to your room,” I said, trying to stay calm.

But Tom was staring at Jade with curious eyes. “Who are you?”

“I’m your Aunt Jade, sweetie.” Jade knelt down with a saccharine smile. “Your mommy’s sister.”

“Bella has no sister,” Caleb said, stepping between Jade and Tom. “Security!”

Two security guards appeared from the private elevator, clearly having followed Jade up.

“We’re sorry, Mr. Black,” one of them said. “She claimed she was expected.”

You can’t throw me out!” Jade’s facade cracked. “I have rights, I’m his aunt!”

“You have supervised visitation at a court-approved facility, not harassment rights in my home.” Caleb’s voice could have frozen hell. “You have ten seconds to leave before I call the police and have you arrested for trespassing.”

“This isn’t over, Caleb.” Jade’s eyes flashed to me, pure hatred. “You think you’ve won, sister? You think stealing my man and hiding his child makes you the victor?

“I never stole anything from you.” I kept my voice level despite my shaking hands. “You tried to destroy my marriage through lies and manipulation. That’s on you.”

“Lies?” Jade laughed, shrill and desperate. “You’re calling me a liar? You’re the one who disappeared with his baby for years!”

“Because you and Father lied against me!” The words exploded out of me. “You made me into the evil one, spread false information about me, you guys sent me away. So yes, I disappeared to protect him from all of you.”

Tom had wrapped himself around my leg, his face buried against me. The photographer was still snapping pictures, capturing every moment of this nightmare.

“Get that camera out of here now,” Caleb snarled at the photographer. “Or I’ll sue you for every penny you

have.”

The photographer hesitated, then security stepped forward and he retreated.
