“They won’t see me. I used the secure route.” His voice was low, rough. “needed to see you. Just once before this really starts.”
My pulse spiked. I should have told him to turn around and leave immediately. Instead I reached up, cupping his sharp jaw. “This is dangerous. You have to go.”
He didn’t answer with words, instead he backed me against the wall in one smooth motion as his mouth crashed down on mine-hot, demanding, almost angry. I kissed him back just as fiercely for a moment, then pulled away, breathing hard.
“Caleb, please… you have to leave,” I begged, even as my hands fisted in his shirt. “If anyone finds out you came here”
He silenced me with another bruising kiss, hands sliding under my clothes to grip my waist. I tried again, voice shaking. “Caleb-stop. I need you to go, this isn’t safe.”
Instead of pulling away, he spun me fully against the wall, pressing his hard body into mine. One large hand yanked my blouse open, buttons scattering. He squeezed my breast roughly, thumb dragging over my n****e until it tightened painfully. I gasped, the mix of sting and heat shooting straight between my legs.
“Please,” I whispered, even as I arched into his touch. “Caleb, you have to leave”
He didn’t listen instead he shoved my trousers and panties down in one rough motion, the fabric pooling at my ankles. I heard the metallic clink of his belt, the rasp of his zipper. His c**k sprang thick, heavy, already leaking at the tip. He didn’t tease, didn’t prepare me gently. He hooked one of my legs over his hip and drove into me in a single hard thrust.
I cried out sharply-pain and overwhelming pleasure slamming through me at once. He was big, and he wasn’t taking it easy tonight. The stretch burned, bordering on too much, but the deep, sudden fullness made my vision blur with raw sensation.
“Caleb-ah-fuck-” I sobbed, nails digging into his shoulders through his shirt. “It hurts… please.”
He groaned against my neck, hips already snapping forward in a brutal rhythm, pounding into me so deep I felt it in my spine. “You think I can just walk away?” he rasped, voice dark and broken. One hand squeezed my breast hard enough to leave marks while the other gripped my hip, holding me in place for every punishing thrust. “You’re mine, Bella. Even when you’re playing bait.”
Every stroke dragged against that sensitive spot inside me, turning the pain into sharp, blinding pleasure. I cried out again and again-half sob, half moan-as he fucked me against the wall like a man possessed, hips slamming into mine with wet, obscene sounds. My back scraped the wall with every thrust. Tears slipped down my cheeks from the intensity, from the fear and love and desperate need all tangled together.
“Please… Caleb… slower-ah-god, I can’t” I begged, even as my body clenched around him, chasing the building coil of release.
He didn’t slow. If anything, he drove harder, angling his hips to hit deeper, grinding against my clit with

every brutal snap. His mouth latched onto my neck, sucking hard, teeth scraping skin. The pain only heightened everything until I shattered-orgasm ripping through me so violently my legs buckled. I whisper screamed his name, walls pulsing around his c**k as pleasure crashed over me in waves.
Caleb followed moments later with a guttural groan, burying himself to the hilt as he came inside me, hot pulses filling me while he held me pinned against the wall, trembling.
For several long seconds we stayed like that-his forehead pressed to mine, both of us breathing raggedly. Then he slowly pulled out, steadying me as my legs threatened to give way. I felt the warm trickle of his release down my thigh.
He cupped my face with surprisingly gentle hands now, thumbs brushing away the tears on my cheeks. His grey eyes were stormy, conflicted. “I shouldn’t have done that.”
“No,” I whispered, voice hoarse. “But I needed it too.”
He helped me straighten my clothes with careful fingers, though nothing could hide the flush on my skin or the fresh mark on my neck. My legs still felt unsteady.
Finally he stepped back, jaw tight. “Go through with the plan. I’ll stay away now. But when this is over…”
I nodded, swallowing the lump in my throat. “When this is over, i come home.”
He gave one last lingering look, then slipped out the door as quietly as he’d come.
I leaned against the wall for a long moment, heart still racing, body aching in the best and worst ways. Then I picked up my bag, moved to the chair, and checked Tom’s feed again. He was asleep now, Diana’s silhouette beside his bed.
My business phone buzzed. Cole’s message had arrived.
