The Lycan Prince’s Wolfless Slave (Academy Romance)
Chapter 15
Once we’re alone, I look at Richard. “Aren’t you a little too old for her, Gamma?
Richard looks embarrassed, his face going almost purple as he tries to come up with an excuse. I hold up a hand. ‘Save it. You’re just going to give a dumb excuse.”
I step closer to his desk and lean in. “I need a favor from you.”
Richard nods quickly, clearly relieved I’m not going to report him. “Sure, Your Highness. Anything.”
I lean against his desk, looking Richard directly in the eyes. “I need you to admit someone into the Academy programs immediately
I say.
His eyebrows shoot up in surprise. He’s probably shocked because I’ve never asked for a favor like this. Usually, I don’t care about who gets in. “Um…Who is the candidate, Your Highness?” he asks, picking up a pen.
“Her name is Lyra Diamond,” I tell him. “She’s the third daughter of Alpha Rafa of the Valeria pack.”
Richard pauses, looking thoughtful. “The Valeria line is strong. Does she have an impressive wolf test result? I’ll need her records to get her placement sorted.”
I pause for a moment to think about his question. I can’t exactly tell him that she’s wolfless. If it gets out, he’ll feel like he has to report it to my father, and the King doesn’t like any ‘defects” in his academy. I lower my voice and speak more sternly.
“That’s not your business, Richard. All you have to do is put her in one of the ongoing programs.”
Richard clears his throat, looking a bit nervous. “Well, I can make it work, but without prior records, she’ll have to start with the lowest level classes.”
“No problem,” I answer.
“Then it’s settled,” Richard says, trying to sound more professional. “Tomorrow morning, she can take her wolf admissions test and
then begin her classes.”
I glare at him, my face hardening. My voice drops into a rough, threatening growl. “No. Fucking. Wolf. Test. Am I clear?”
Richard’s face goes pale. He stammers, and his hands start to tremble. “B–But, Y–Your Highness… every student must pass the test.
It’s the King’s number one criteria. I could lose my job if I bypass the physical evaluation-*
“You’ll lose your job a lot faster if I tell my father you’re taking advantage of the students on

The color drains from his face completely. He looks like he’s about to faint, but he nods quickly. “She… she will begin classes immediately. No test required. I’ll handle the paperwork myself.”

“Thank you, I say, though I don’t mean it. I turn and head back to my apartment
It’s close to midnight now, so the hallways are mostly empty, which is exactly how I like it.
As I reach my apartment wing, I pass by my sister’s door and freeze when I hear voices coming from inside. Who the hell is in her fucking room?
I pause when I recognize Kara’s voice, but the other voice is unmistakably Lyra’s. Wait, What the hell is she doing with my sister?
The door’s just a tiny bit open. I shouldn’t really care, but I end up leaning in to peek through the gap. I’m surprised by what I fee Kara isn’t yelling at her or making her clean; she’s actually laughing. Lyra also has a small smile on her face, top. It’s weird because Kara hardly likes anyone, especially not a servant she just met.
I stand there in the hallway, watching them and thinking, how the heck did Lyra manage to charm my sister in less than an hour?
I’m about to step inside when my cell phone vibrates in my pockets. I pull it out and sigh when I see the name on the screen.
Rina(Katarina): Hey baby, I need to see you now! Please come to my apartment immediately! Muah.
I look at my sister and Lyra one more time, before closing the door softly and making my way to my betrothed’s apartment. Princess Katarina Zora of the Zora kingdom, a smaller Lycan kingdom to ours and one of our allies.
This is the only reason she’s my betrothed.
