"Irreversible brain trauma is beyond anyone's control. Even a miracle worker couldn't fix that," Stella replied evenly. "But they've locked down the news. The Burtons have no idea it even happened."

"Are you kidding me?" Abby gasped. "Something this huge, and the Williams family is actually trying to hide it from them?"

"Sellers is the head of the Burton family now, and he already wants Aurora dead," Stella explained calmly. "If he finds out about this, he'll tear her apart. He might even throw her straight into prison."

"Should we leak it to him?" Abby whispered excitedly. "Let them rip each other to shreds?"

"Not yet," Stella cautioned. "Aurora is completely neutralized. She's in no position to cause any more trouble. The Burtons are notoriously strict about illegitimate children, yet Sellers publicly claimed a daughter. I'm guessing he's dealing with some serious personal issues. Plus, his absolute rage toward Aurora implies it's tied to his inability to have an heir. If we throw them into a death match right now and things spiral out of control, Shay's true identity might get exposed. Sellers is furious that Shay isn't his, but if he finds out who Aurora's real child belongs to, his entire stance might shift. We can't predict what he'd do."

Abby immediately understood.

Right now, Shay was the fake heiress, so obviously, her DNA wouldn't match anyone.
