Chapter 631
Hayley took the restraints from Nathaniel without hesitation. 1
When Nathaniel saw her calmly put them on, he broke into a wide smile.
The elevator descended all the way to Level Five underground.
This place was different from where he had taken her last time. Now, Nathaniel led her into a completely sealed section.
The locked doors opened. Beyond them stood a massive white hall.
The room was enormous. People wearing familiar masks sat along both sides.
On the left were the yellow masks of Ark Two. On the right sat Ark Three, wearing white masks. And directly in front, seated at the highest position, was a man wearing a green mask Hayley had never seen before.
As she walked across the hall, it felt like entering a temple.
The people seated around her looked down like distant gods watching a sinner approach judgment. Every pair of eyes followed her.
Some studied her.
Some looked down on her.
Some seemed surprised.
Some were openly amused.
Others were furious.
A few looked like they wanted to kill her right there.
Hayley walked through the crowd in shackles, like a criminal standing trial before the gods.
“So you’re Hayley,” the man in the green mask said from the high seat.
Hayley looked up at him. “You’re the base director of Ark One?”
Lance studied her carefully. Even now, standing alone in enemy territory, she showed no fear.
His eyes lit up slightly.
No wonder Nathaniel had become so obsessed with her. She had spirit.
“Hayley, you don’t get to be arrogant here!” Gerard snapped.
“You’re here to admit your guilt,” Donald added coldly.
Hayley slowly turned her head, looking from one masked figure to the next.
“And who the hell are you supposed to be?” she said flatly. “If you want to judge me, start by giving your damn names. ”
“You’re asking for it!” Dean, someone Hayley met not long ago, shouted.
He lunged forward in a rush.
Hayley saw him coming. She lifted her leg and drove a kick straight into his chest.
Dean collapsed. Before he could recover, Hayley stomped down hard.
His heart burst under her foot. Blood spread across the floor while Hayley stood there calmly, her boot planted on his corpse

“If you want to judge me,” she said coldly, “say your names.”
The entire hall went silem.
Everyone felt their heartbeat skip Even here, even when surrounded by enemies, she was still a violent storm.
Lance stared at the girl standing in blood below him.
His eyes gleamed.
“My name is Lance Delgado,” he said. “I’m the base director of Ark One.”
As soon as he spoke, the masked figures on both sides followed.
“I’m Gerard Ford, director of Ark Two.”
“I’m Donald Payne, director of Ark Three.”
Hayley slowly scanned the room.
Everyone was here. Not one missing.
Her fingers tapped lightly against the metal cuffs as she waited.
Just a little longer.
“Hayley,” Lance said coldly, “this trial has begun. You will confess and repent for your crimes.”
“What crimes?” she asked calmly.
“You still refuse to admit it,” Gerard sneered. “You provoked conflict between our three bases, endangered our security, and slaughtered our people. Each of those crimes deserves death.”
Hayley let out a cold laugh.
“I provoked conflict between you? When Ark One was attacked, I brought my men and marched hundreds of miles to help you. If your alliance was so strong, why didn’t you help each other?
“You say I endangered your security? You three bases always acted like you were above everyone else. You looked down on my little border base from the beginning. And even then, we still traded with you at low prices. So how exactly did we threaten you?
“And killing your people? I didn’t see us slaughter anyone. But yesterday, you killed 203 of my residents. So tell me how are you gonna pay that back?”
