Chapter 621
The last two fighters stared at Hayley as she walked toward them, calm and unbueried.
Meanwhile, frantic voices blasted through their earpieces.
“You’d better not lose! If you lose, your famthes die with you! Kill her ao matter what!”
The two men already knew the truth.
There was no surviving this. They were dead either way. Their abilities were almost drained, and Hayley was closing in.
The two of them exchanged a glance, and then they ran straight at her.
All that remained in their eyes was a desperate resolve,
If they were going to die, they would take her with them.
Even if they couldn’t win, they could still detonate their abilities. A self-destruction blaat might kill Hayley, too,
And if she died, then they hadn’t truly lost.
“Self-destruct?” Hayley said softly.
She looked at the two men charging toward her and smiled faintly.
“Who says I’ll let you?”
The two Gifted froze for a split second, confused by the lightness of her tone.
Then Hayley activated her pulse-type gift. The moment they tried to ignite the full power of their abilities, their powers
vanished.
Their gifts were gone!
The two men stared in shock, unable to understand what had just happened. Before they could react, several nearby zombies lunged at them.
“Raarh!”
Rotting jaws clamped down on their necks, and blood sprayed into the air.
At that moment, the two strongest fighters of Ark Two were no different from ordinary people. They struggled desperately in
the middle of the zombie pack.

It didn’t last long.
Within seconds, the horde dragged them down and devoured them.
Not a single ability appeared again.
Up in the stands, everyone jumped to their feet.
It had happened too fast.
From their angle, it looked like the two men had been about to reach Hayley and explode themselves, and then, suddenly, the zombies overwhelmed them.
It looked like their powers had simply run out.
Nothing about it looked strange.
Only Griffin, standing closer than the others, felt something odd. For a brief moment, it felt like his own ability had flickered

and stopped working. He instinctively stepped back a couple of steps, and the feeling faded.
Griffin looked down at Hayley again. A wider grin spread across his face.
Captain Gorgeous really did have a lot of hidden cards.
After eliminating the fighters from all three bases, only a little over 100 zombies remained in the arena.
Most of them had been killed by Ark Two’s fighters.
Hayley raised her hand and unleashed her water-element gift, something the crowd knew well.
Water surged into the air around her. Thick waves of mist rolled across the battlefield. After several sweeping bursts, the remaining zombies were wiped out completely.
Thirty seconds later, the barrier dissolved.
The beast battle arena was silent.
Everywhere except the small area behind Hayley was covered with bodies.
Five hundred zombies. Twelve Gifted fighters from the three bases combined.

All dead.
“I win,” Hayley said.
She lifted her head and looked up at Gerard, who collapsed back into his chair with a thud.
It was over.
Completely over.
He hadn’t just lost five million tons of grain. He had lost the ten strongest Gifted in his entire base, too!
On the other side, Ark Three’s director stared at Hayley with shining eyes.
She was even more impressive than he had imagined. Her strength was terrifying. If someone like her could work for Ark Three, the future of their base would be unstoppable.
But if she couldn’t be recruited…then she absolutely couldn’t be allowed to join another base!
Nathaniel watched Hayley with open admiration.
Every time she revealed her strength, it felt like discovering another hidden layer. She never seemned to have a limit.
Someone like that had to belong to him. He would make sure of it.
Meanwhile, Liam’s group erupted in excitement. Leonard and Thomas rushed down toward the arena with the others to greet Hayley.
They had just won big.
Only Liam remained where he stood. A faint smile still rested on his face as he looked at Hayley.
But there was something else in his eyes now, a trace of curiosity.
Those two fighters getting devoured by zombies just now… Was that really an accident? Because it almost felt as though…..
