Seeing my genuine smile, Richard and Elaine visibly relaxed. Elaine took my hand in both of hers.

‘I’ll be here for everything, Aria. The way a real mother should be.”

Her words touched something deep in my chest. This woman was my biological mother, yet Christine had stolen decades from both of us. While I’d endured Christine’s coldness and resentment, Elaine had mourned a daughter she believed was dead.

Richard cleared his throat. “We’ve arranged for the family to relocate to Europe. I’m gradually transferring our business operations

overseas as well.”

He outlined the new identities he’d prepared, the medical resources he’d secured, everything we’d need to disappear completely from New

York and start fresh.

“You’ll have access to the best medical care in the world,” he assured me. “Complete privacy and security. No one will know who you really

are.

I looked at these people-my real parents, who had never stopped searching for the truth even when they didn’t know I was lost. For the first time in my life, the words came naturally.

They both froze. Elaine burst into tears while Richard’s eyes glistened as he pulled his wife close.

“Christine stole so much from you guys, Olivia said softly. “And knowing the truth and still treating you that way? That’s just evil.”

I nodded, remembering Christine’s lifelong coldness toward me, how she’d treated Emma like royalty while making me feel like an unwanted burden. Now I understood why-she’d been raising the true Grant heiress as a servant while elevating her own daughter to my

rightful position.

‘She never loved me,” I said, surprised by how little the words hurt now. “I spent years trying to earn her approval, but it was never going

to happen.

“You deserved so much better, Elaine said fiercely. “And from now on, you’ll have it.”

“We’ll give you and your children the life you should have always had, Richard promised. “Protection, love, support-everything.”

Olivia suddenly straightened. “I’m coming with you to Europe.

I stared at her in surprise. “What about your company?”

I didn’t ask about her husband because she had caught him red-handed in bed with Bella, and discovered the truth about David’s so-called “rescue” – the fire was completely staged by him to manipulate Olivia. She had also hired private investigators who uncovered that they had been transferring company assets, and she immediately fired all the employees involved. Since that fire had killed several people, Olivia had already handed everything over to her lawyers to handle the divorce and press murder charges against him. David would be spending the next 5 years behind bars.

She waved dismissively. ‘Remember our pact? Our kids would grow up as best friends?” She patted her own pregnant belly. “I’m keeping that promise. Besides, my company has been planning European expansion, and I’ve been in talks with several Swiss tech firms.”

Her expression grew serious. “Are you really ready to leave New York behind, Aria? This means cutting all ties with Blake, with everything you’ve known.

I thought about Blake, about the years I’d spent loving him, about how that love had curdled into something darker after endless

emotional neglect and cruelty. Years of my life devoted to a man who’d treated our marriage as a business merger, who’d made me feel

worthless every single day.

“Leaving is exactly what I need,” I said with conviction. “I’m ready for a new life. And someday, when I’m stronger, I’ll come back and

make Blake regret every moment he made me suffer.”

Olivia grinned wickedly. “Now that’s the spirit! You’ve wasted years loving Blake, but think about everything you learned being married to him. You absorbed so much about business, about power, about how these people think. Now you can use all of that against him.”
