Chapter 78: 078: The Beast In My Dream

~ ROSELLE ~

Everywhere is suddenly dark. I find myself standing in that hallway again.

Where the hell am I? Even swallowed by darkness, the walls feel eerily familiar. My fingertips trail over the cold stone as I search for a way out, my breathing growing more uneven with every step.

There’s a faint light glows at the very end of the hallway.

My pulse spikes. I remember this. Without thinking, I break into a run, my footsteps pounding against the floor as I race toward it. The light never seems to get any closer. Instead, the hallway stretches endlessly before me, swallowing every step I take.

"No..." I whisper, shaking my head.

I run harder. Faster. My lungs burn, my legs ache, yet somehow I end up right back where I started.

I skid to a stop, my chest heaving as panic claws its way up my throat.

"What the...?" My heartbeat pounds so loudly it drowns out everything else.

"Can anyone hear me?" I scream.

My voice ricochets through the hallway. Once. Twice. Three times. Then... Silence. An eerie, suffocating silence.

The only sound left is the frantic pounding of my own heart and the ragged breaths leaving my lungs.

I slowly turn in a circle, searching the darkness for anything... anyone.

Nothing. Where the hell am I? And how the fuck do I get out of this fucking place?

Suddenly, a deafening thud shook the corridor, the sound of something impossibly heavy crashing onto the stone floor. I spun wildly, my gaze darting from left to right, searching the suffocating darkness for the source.

Another thud echoed, much slower this time, the impact vibrating through the ground.

The noise sounds wet, guttural, almost like the heartbeat of a monster awakening. I clamped my hands over my ears, but it did nothing to drown out the haunting sound.

The light suddenly flickers back to life, making my breath catch in my throat. I slowly lift my head, and it’s as though every ounce of air is knocked from my lungs.

Barely a few feet away stands a creature I... can’t...

My eyes widen in horror as my entire body locks in place, refusing to move.

No... No, that can’t be real.

My pulse pounds violently in my ears as I stare at the monstrous figure, my mind struggling to make sense of what I’m seeing.

Every instinct screams at me to run, yet my feet remain rooted to the ground.

It towers over me, easily eight feet tall, its body a monstrous fusion of man and beast. Black veins crawl beneath cracked, ash-gray skin stretched over mountains of muscle. Two enormous obsidian horns rise from its skull, thick at the base before curving toward the ceiling like the twisted crown of a fallen king. Long, raven-black hair hangs in tangled strands around a face that is almost human...

But my body won’t move. I’m trapped, pinned by its glowing amber gaze and the overwhelming, suffocating presence of the beast that wants to claim me completely.

Run. Run, Roselle.

The command screams through my mind, louder this time as I finally break free of the paralysis, spinning on my heel and bolting down the endless hallway. My bare feet slap against the cold stone, heart slamming against my ribs as pure terror fuels every desperate stride.

Behind me, the creature lets out a low, rumbling laugh that echoes like thunder.

"You can run, little mate... but you can’t hide."

Its heavy footsteps shake the ground, each one closer than the last. I don’t dare look back. I pump my arms harder, lungs burning, legs screaming as the hallway stretches impossibly longer. The faint light at the end never gets any closer, it’s a cruel illusion, taunting me.

A massive clawed hand swipes through the air just behind me, missing my back by inches. I scream, veering sharply to the side, but there’s nowhere to go. The walls close in like they’re alive, trapping me in this nightmare corridor.

"You smell so fucking good when you’re scared," the beast growls, voice dripping with dark lust. "I’m going to catch you... pin you down... and fuck that tight little cunt until you’re creaming all over my knot. I’ll breed you so full you’ll feel me for weeks. You’ll beg for it, won’t you? My perfect little cumslut."

Its breath is hot on the back of my neck now. Too close. I push harder, tears streaming down my face, but it’s useless.

A powerful arm wraps around my waist like a steel band, yanking me backward with brutal strength. I scream as my feet leave the ground, my back slamming against its massive, burning-hot chest. Its huge, throbbing cock presses against my ass, thick and insistent, the swollen knot already pulsing with need.

"Got you," it snarls triumphantly, claws digging into my hips just enough to sting. "Now you’re mine to ruin..."

I jolt awake with a choked gasp, shooting upright in bed, sheets tangled around my legs. My heart is pounding so hard it feels like it might burst. Sweat clings to my skin, and my thighs are uncomfortably slick from the nightmare’s twisted arousal.
