"Herbert, when I was with Sylvie picking up her dress, we saw Hulda just casually shopping! Her own son is crying for attention, and she's out there blowing money without a care in the world! It's disgusting!"

Valery lost her appetite entirely. "What kind of wife is she? Herbert, you're in the middle of a massive company crisis, and she has time to go shopping but no time to check on her own husband?!"

She slammed her silverware onto the table. "I used to think that even if she wasn't exactly high society material, at least she knew her place. But now she can't even perform her basic wifely duties! Herbert, you need to discipline her immediately. Cutting off her allowance isn't enough; you have to make her understand the severity of this. If she keeps acting like this, she'll lose her position as Mrs. Jewell!"

Herbert's face was unreadable as he elegantly dabbed his mouth with a napkin. "I know, Mom. I'll deal with her after the press conference."

Wade Jewell, who had been quietly eating, finally spoke up. "Have her come back and report to my Go Academy. Let her work a real job. Once she gets a taste of discipline and sees how tough the real world is compared to others, she'll learn."

Cora rolled her eyes. "Dad, it's Hulda. Aren't you worried she'll humiliate you and the entire Jewell family by messing up at your academy?"

Wade had obviously considered that. "She will only be there as a low-level employee. Publicly, I will absolutely not acknowledge her as my daughter-in-law."
