Back at the Zeng family clinic, the main door was closed, but the lights were still on inside. 

Zeng Xiaoya said, “My second uncle and aunt should be having dinner upstairs. They’ll come down and reopen the clinic after they finish eating, but there are usually not many patients at night.” 

Evenings are much easier than daytimes. 

Zeng Xiaoya got out of the car, unlocked the clinic door, and turned to Zhan Yue, who had just gotten out, saying, “It’s still early, come in and have a cup of tea.” 

“That’s exactly what I was thinking.” 

Zhan Yue helped her take the gifts he had received from the car. 

Zeng Xiaoya reopened the clinic door. 

She invited Zhan Yue to sit at the tea table where her second uncle usually drank tea, then boiled water, poured out the tea from the old teapot, and brewed fresh tea. 

“It’s still early, won’t drinking tea affect your sleep tonight?” 

“No, maybe it’s because I drink too much coffee and tea, but even if I drink tea at night, I can sleep like a log.” 

Zeng Xiaoya laughed, “I used to be unable to sleep all night after drinking a little tea, and now I’m almost the same as you.”

Her second aunt came downstairs. 

The couple had just finished eating. Hearing the noise, the second aunt went downstairs first, while the second uncle was clearing the table.

Everyone looked at Dr. Lin as he walked in.
