Chapter 30 The Whole Family Is Sick In The Head.
The group spoke almost in unison.

“Indeed. How could I possibly steal Aurelia’s boyfriend? I can’t understand why she would treat me this way.” Melanie cried, feeling very wronged and pitiful.
The three sons of the Leedon family were extremely fond of their sister. Upon hearing what she had said, they immediately felt that Aurelia was utterly despicable.
“I went to find her to have her clarify things on her Instagram,” Benjamin spoke up in frustration.
Aaron’s face looked extremely displeased. “She is getting more audacious, and she’s becoming more and more unscrupulous in her actions.”
“Let her come back and apologize to Mel,” Spencer said with a stern face.
Upon hearing the words of her three sons, Luna glanced at the photo on her phone. It appeared incredibly authentic, and didn’t look like it was photoshopped. However, her daughter couldn’t possibly lie, so the one who must be lying was definitely Aurelia.
She took a deep breath, yet she still felt angry. “Children who didn’t grow up with us are full of problems.”
Melanie kept crying, not uttering another word. She knew them well. The less she spoke, the more aggrieved she appeared. Thus, they would certainly blame Aurelia.
She couldn’t understand. Has Curtis gone mad?
Why on earth would someone post a marriage proposal on Instagram so early in the morning?
Moreover, she truly couldn’t understand why Aurelia was so determined to distance herself from Curtis. When exactly has Aurelia discovered her relationship with Curtis? We have hidden it so well.
Benjamin had made several consecutive calls to Aurelia, but no one answered.
“She actually didn’t answer my call!”
“I called her, but she didn’t pick up too,” said Aaron.
“Let me give it a try.” Spencer picked up his phone and dialed a number.
Still, no one answered.
The faces of the three Leedon boys were as black as thunder. Ever since Aurelia returned to the Leedon family, she had been constantly trying to please them. Now, she actually dared to ignore. their calls!
Luna didn’t make a call. She had made many before with all ending with the same result. Aurelia was in a foul mood for reasons unknown and simply wouldn’t answer the phone.

The family fell into silence.

“Today, we must find her. If she doesn’t clarify things, someone will definitely leak it to the media once they recognizes Mel. At that point, there will surely be people exposing Mel online,” Spencer said with a furrowed brow.
In the entertainment industry, he was well aware of how swiftly the media operated and how rapidly information spread online.
Perhaps by now, someone had already taken screenshots and shared them on various short video
apps.
The Leedon family was a well–respected household in Jacaster, they couldn’t afford any scandal.
Melanie hadn’t anticipated this, so she looked at Spencer in alarm. “Spencer, the photo is fake. I don’t want to be exposed online!”
“First, let’s observe the situation, then get in touch with Aurelia. We must be prepared for the worst. I’ll contact our media friends to get the public relations work started in advance. Don’t worry, Mel.” As Spencer spoke, he was already preparing to make a phone call.
Melanie obediently nodded. Her gaze flickered as she lowered her head. She knew the photo was real, not photoshopped.
However, her family took her side firmly. Spencer’s friends were all owners of media companies, and the Leedon family had various connections in Jacaster. In a way, they could easily twist the truth, turning white into black, leaving Aurelia with no chance to defend herself.
Luna seized the opportunity, and made a call to Gideon. However, he was busy with something unknown and overwhelmed, so he simply suggested to her to get his sons to handle the situation.
After hanging up the phone, Luna always felt a void in her heart–an indescribable sensation.
Perhaps…
She was annoyed by Aurelia’s action.
Curtis discovered Aurelia’s Instagram because Melanie had sent him a message.
At first, he did not take it seriously, assuming that Aurelia was just throwing a tantrum.
She is really tough and take things as they come!
Indeed, she is my BFF
Gina.
Even her high school classmates on WhatsApp asked her what was going on. She didn’t respond, nor did she feel the need to. Apart from her family and Nancy, she didn’t believe that these people genuinely cared about her.
Most people harbored a penchant for gossip.
After a few seconds of silence, she returned Spencer’s call.
Soon, Spencer answered the phone.
“Auri, delete your post on your Instagram immediately, then post a new one. Just say that you were in a bad mood today, and randomly edited a photo. Also, apologize to Mel.” Spencer’s tone

In her previous life, she had been blindly appeasing the three Leedon boys, much like how she had tried to please Luna. However, all her sincerity had been wasted like casting pearls before.
swine.
The entire family enjoys barking orders at others. If that isn’t a sign of madness, then what is?
“Could it be real if it wasn’t photoshopped? How could Melanie possibly be with your boyfriend? You need to draw a line when it comes to baseless jealousy. Your boyfriend, apart from having a handsome face, is nothing but a poor loser. Mel wouldn’t give him a second glance.” Spencer glanced at Melanie, who was watching him, signaling her to stay calm. No matter how Aurelia explained, he wouldn’t believe her.
Aaron signaled Spencer to hand him the cellphone.
Spencer then handed over his cellphone.
“The actions you took today were rather harebrained. You casually posted a photo, aiming to
U with him over money. Do you really think we would believe you? If you don’t want to escalate the situation and make things ugly, just do as Spencer suggested,” Aaron commanded directly.

“The whole lot of you are seriously screwed up. I don’t care whether you believe it or not isn’t important. Isn’t Melanie feeling guilty? I was just worried the situation wasn’t chaotic enough. Go ahead and call the police, it’ll save me the trouble of dialing 911.”
