Reborn: Apocalypse Ready. War Goddess by My Side novel Chapter 460

460 You Reap What You Sow

For a long, long while, not a single word was spoken.

A ThreeSigil, blowing apart a Five–Sigil.

What a sick joke!

They’d never seen anything like it in their lives.

One of the men behind Bloodfiend spoke up. “This guy is definitely another Grade–A, Tier–1 threat…”

Out beyond them, the Thousand Shadows fell silent as well, because this was turning out to be far more complicated than he’d ever imagined.

But did this even count as a success?

On the battlefield, the Soulreaver teammates frantically regrouped.

Two of them were gravely wounded, and Beckett had a gaping hole torn through his chest, blood gushing out, hovering on the brink of death.

Their squad’s Healer worked in a panic, using a few pieces of high–tech equipment to stop Beckett’s bleeding and keep him barely clinging to life.

“Captain Alex!” a Soulreaver teammate screamed, breaking down.

Alex returned to their side, and as he took in the wretched state of the three of them, no words could capture what he was feeling.

A thunderous rage began to erupt.

He fixed his glare on Alan.

Alan drifted out to meet him in turn.

Both of them gave off a terrifying pressure.

In that moment, Thousand Shadows finally had the Moon Sky Fox pull back its power.

The illusion was lifted.

Now everyone noticed what was happening between the two squads.

What had happened?

The Thousand Shadows narrowed his eyes slightly. Could a real fight break out here?

He gave the order for the beast tide to pull back for the time being.

Military Command finally caught wind of the clash between Ashen and Soulreaver.

Alex let uut a furious foar. “That kid’s going down too!”

Alan answered with a cold snort. “You reap what you sow! He’s the one who deserved to die!”

Alex roared again and instantly lunged forward to kili.

The beasts had already begun to withdraw, so with nothing left to worry about at their backs, the fight that needed to happen was going to happen.

An earth–shaking battle broke out.

The beast tide had barely receded before their clash erupted again, fast and furious, one blow hard on the heels of the last.

Thousand Shadows and Bloodfiend finally smiled in satisfaction. had worked!

Now let them fight to the death!

One of them dying would be the cleanest outcome of them all!

Today, Alex had to die right here!

Thousand Shadows let out a cold laugh. The main event was finally about to begin.

The two of them erupted into a staggering battle in midair.

Military Command barked furiously. “What do you two think you’re doing? Have you lost your minds? Stop this right now!”

A lot of people began converging on the scene.

After all, most of them had no idea what was going on.

A Divine General from Military Command appeared.

“What is the meaning of this?”

“Did you really think no one was watching?”

The Lieutenant General’s head was already spinning from all of it.

He looked over at Edric, Olivia, and the rest. “You’re saying they deliberately drew the beasts over to your side? And then tried to kill you afterward?”

Edric, Olivia, and the others all nodded.

The truth was they didn’t know the full story, because earlier, when Steven and Alan had talked about mind control, they hadn’t really understood it and had only believed what they’d seen with their own eyes.

The Lieutenant General’s face darkened.

Then he looked toward the Soulreaver side.

Firushed

“Every one of you in Soulreaver is a Divine General. You expect me to believe they could hurt you?”

Everyone’s expression stalled at that. A Divine Knight or a Divine Adept, wounding a Divine General? Punching a hole clean through one of them?

Most people were completely in the dark, since hardly anyone had been watching this spot at the time. By the moment the beast tide pulled back, they’d already found three Soulreavers gravely wounded, Beckett among them with his chest punched straight through, and no one even knew yet whether he’d pull through.

This Lieutenant General from Military Command was just as bewildered, since he hadn’t paid much attention to this area either.

Even the two men Steven had sent flying with a single roundhouse kick were dazed, having completely forgotten what they themselves had done, remembering only that Steven’s kick had caught them square
