Chapter 342 The Queen of Flames Stands by Him

“So you’re using that little favor you did for Bianca to keep her tied to you emotionally. Isn’t that taking advantage of her?
“You’re holding back her growth! You’re being irresponsible with Rowenville’s future! She could’ve gone into the military, but you dragged her here instead. Isn’t that doing whatever you want?”
The more Landon spoke, the more emotional he became. With every word, he painted Steven as a selfish nobody.
Some people around them started to agree.
No matter how they looked at it, Steven seemed like a freeloader living off Bianca’s status and benefits.
He didn’t deserve those privileges. And he definitely didn’t deserve someone like Bianca.
Steven couldn’t help but give him a thumbs–up. The guy had done his homework.
Then, an angry voice suddenly exploded through the crowd.
“Enough!!!”
Boom! A terrifying wave of fire burst from Bianca’s body.
Everyone froze.
The overwhelming pressure forced several students to step back. The heat rolling off her was so intense that no one dared come near.
Flames wrapped around her body. She looked like a queen walking out of an inferno.
Step by step, she walked toward Steven and Landon.
“You only know half the story, but you’re acting as if you know everything. What exactly are you trying to do?”
Fire burned in her eyes. She was truly furious.
No one had the right to speak about Steven like that.
Landon couldn’t help swallowing when he saw Bianca like this. He had already been under a lot of pressure when he stepped forward to do this. If he truly angered Bianca, things would end badly for her.
Bianca shouted, “You’re trying to drive a wedge between us and question the academy’s decision. Are you that desperate to force me into the military? What exactly are you after?”
The crowd was startled.
The current Bianca carried an incredible presence. With only a few sentences, she snapped everyone back to their senses.
After all, everything Landon had said was only his version of the story.

Landon hurriedly defended himself. “I’m doing this for your own good! I don’t have any bad intentions!”
Bianca’s voice turned cold. “For my own good? Did I ask for your concern?”
Landon froze. He had no idea how to answer.
Steven watched her and smiled.
The Bianca of today was truly different. She had changed more and more.
Bianca continued, “And another thing. Yes, Steven has special privileges. But did he ask for them? No. The academy leadership discussed it and decided to give them to him.
“And even though he has those privileges, he has never used them.
“He has never collected a single divine crystal. He has never claimed a combat art. As for the training chambers, he hasn’t stepped into one even once. Did you know any of that?”
The crowd exploded.
He had all those privileges and never used them?

Bianca said coldly, “Because none of those things are worth his time.”
The crowd was stunned.
Not worth his time? Did Steven have some hidden identity?
Bianca grabbed Steven’s hand, once again making their relationship clear to everyone.
“Steven, let’s go.”
But Steven didn’t move.
Bianca looked at him in confusion.
Steven smiled. “Bianca, you already said everything I wanted to say. We really are on the same wavelength”
Bianca gave him a sweet smile.
Steven added, “But handling something like this isn’t enough. Do you know how to make people remember a lesson?”
Bianca tilted her head, her eyes full of confusion.
Steven turned toward Landon.
The next second, he pulled the Dragon Spear from his spatial converter and pointed it straight at him.
His voice rang out with confidence. “Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance! If you can beat me, we walk away and call it even. But if you lose, I’ll make sure you learn why I have nothing to fear.”
