Reborn: Apocalypse Ready. War Goddess by My Side novel Chapter 316

Spencer spat out a mouthful of blood, but he didn’t cry out in pain. Like Abigail, he looked like some kind of psycho.

Seeing his son and daughter being beaten to this state, Silas Read was beyond furious.

“You bastard! Let go of my son! Or I’ll make sure you’ll regret it!”

Steven said coldly, “Look at the two monsters you raised. They killed innocent people and didn’t even spare a little kid. Do they really deserve to be alive?”

Silas’s expression turned dark and vicious.

“They’re my children. If they did something wrong, we’ll punish them ourselves. It’s not your place to lay a hand on them!

“Let them go! We’ll compensate that child!”

Steven looked up and laughed mockingly.

“Compensate? Then pay with your lives!”

Power began gathering in his hand. In just a moment, he could kill Spencer.

Silas was truly scared.

“Stop! We can talk this out!

“What do you want? Just say it!”

Steven’s expression turned cold. “What do I want? I want their lives!”

Silas knew he couldn’t wait any longer. He was a Divine General, and his speed was far beyond that of this insignificant guy. If he took a chance, there was still a possibility he could win!

Silas moved in an instant, charging forward with killing intent.

“You bastard! Die!”

But at that critical moment, a terrifying blade strike suddenly shot toward Silas.

Feeling the terrifying pressure coming from it, Silas was instantly shocked.

The power of his Divine Sigil exploded, and he immediately collided with the attack.

Boom!

The explosion was deafening.

Silas was shocked. He was sent flying backward in an instant while protecting Abigail.

Alan stood there with a blade in one hand, his eyes filled with extreme coldness.

Steven let out a sigh of relief.

With the captain here, they were safe.

Alan glanced at Silas.

Then he looked around at the surrounding space before locking his eyes on a certain direction.

Brian appeared at the doorway.

Not bad. Such sharp senses. After becoming a Divine General, he really has changed.

Alan withdrew his gaze and stared at Silas.

His eyes were cold.

Silas recognized Alan.

“Alan, why are you interfering? Let go of my daughter!”

But Alan completely ignored him.

Instead, he looked at Steven.

“What happened?”

Steven released the Scorchblood Ignition.

Finished

Steven said coldly, “These two bastards brought people here to assassinate me. While I was fighting their men, they attacked my home and hurt a child.”

Over there, Bianca said in panic, “Steven, Hope’s breathing is getting weaker!”

Steven tightened his grip on Spencer’s neck.

Spencer’s face turned red. “Kill me, and you’ll all die!”

Brian and Vanessa gathered beside Bianca.

Using his Eye of Insight, Steven saw how dangerous Hope’s condition had become.

He tapped his earpiece.

“Darlene, are you here yet?”

14:42 Tue, Jun 23 M.

Fiona was shocked by the scene in front of her. Steven had defeated Spencer and Abigail?

He had only gone out for a while. How much stronger had he become?

Steven’s face was cold. He knew that reporting this to the military would be useless. The Reads had connections everywhere. They could easily make this matter disappear.

Finished

Steven said coldly, “An eye for an eye! They came to kill me, and they hurt Hope. Then I’ll kill them!”

Alan didn’t say anything else.

Silas roared in fury, “Damn it! You bastard! That was just some worthless child! How can she compare to my children? They’re both SS–rank!

“If you dare touch a single hair on my son, I’ll make sure you die a tragic end!”

Nearby, Brian’s eyes flashed with a hint of indifference.

Abigail spat out blood and laughed viciously. “Old man, why are you wasting time talking? Kill them all! Hahaha!

A cold glint flashed in Steven’s eyes.

He suddenly slammed Spencer in his hand into the ground and stepped down hard on his chest.

Spencer coughed up blood wildly. He was already barely hanging on.

Silas’s eyes widened with rage.

“You’re asking for death!”

Silas exploded with power in an instant.

Alan

gave a cold snort. His ring–hilt saber instantly left its sheath.

In the darkness of the night, the blade reflected a cold light.

With one slash, the blade arc shot toward the charging Silas.
