Chapter 210 Operation Moonfall

Everyone stored away their armored cats:

The military conducted another round of inspections.

As one inspector reviewed Steven’s information, he frowned.

“One–Sigil Awakened? What’s going on here?”

Olivia quickly stepped forward. “There’s no problem. He’s one of our team members. He’s indeed a One- Sigil Awakened.”

The inspector gave Steven a long look. Just a Brank. Not worth worrying about.

Besides, they were members of Team Ashen. They could do whatever they wanted. Even military generals typically avoided interfering.

Just then, a slightly mocking voice rang out.

“Olivia, what’s happened to Team Ashen? Have your recruitment standards dropped that low? You even accepted a One–Sigil Awakened? When I applied back then, you wouldn’t even take me, and I was S–rank.”

Hearing that, several nearby teams turned to look. Many of them looked surprised.

A One–Sigil Awakened?

Following the voice, everyone saw a beautiful woman/dressed in a revealing red combat outfit.

She stood alongside a group of stern–faced teammates.

Steven swept over them with the Eye of Insight.

Four of them were already Four–Sigil Divine Knights!

Their overall strength was clearly superior to Team Ashen’s.

Steven also noticed one individual whose four Divine Sigils were nearly complete. He looked only a step away from advancing to the Five–Sigil stage.

The aura radiating from that man was exceptionally powerful.

He was probably their captain.

When he glanced over, his expression remained indifferent.

The rest of the team members were all Three–Sigil Awakened, and none of them were weak.

Steven found it strange. Team Ashen didn’t look that strong on the surface, yet it ranked first Then, he took the opportunity to examine Alan.

The result shocked him.

No way!

In Steven’s vision. Alan’s aura towered over everyone present.

He resembled a primordial beast capable of blotting out the sky itself.

He was several times stronger than the captain ofthe other team!

Only then did Steven understand. The real reason Ashen ranked first was Alan.

He was an absolute monster.

His Four–Sigil had already reached complete perfection. He could advance to the Five–Sigil stage at any

moment.

While Steven was quietly observing everyone around him, Olivia calmly looked toward the woman.

The entire crowd stared at Steven’s sudden loss of composure.

Steven looked at the Team Blood Wolf’s captain with utter shock.

Alan also glanced at Steven, his expression as indifferent as ever.

The Team Blood Wolf’s captain, Sebastian Dunn, looked at Steven once before withdrawing his gaze.

“Is this your recruit?” He turned to Alan. “You might as well give me Edric, and I’ll give you Cara.”

Alan remained completely expressionless.

He ignored the subject entirely.

“Phantom Moon Fox? Are you sure?”

Sebastian nodded. “More or less. Military Command just tracked down traces of a level 5 Phantom Moon Fox. We have every reason to believe it’s the one orchestrating everything from behind the scenes.”

A subtle change finally appeared in Alan’s expression.

“Then the danger rating should be upgraded to level 5.”

Sebastian nodded, “Normally, yes. A highly intelligent beast like this is every bit as dangerous as a level beast. But the military command didn’t change the rating. It’s still officially classified as a level 4 operation.

“After all, we’re not expected to kill it. We only need to complete the mission and confirm its location. Once we do, the military will dispatch Divine Generals and Divine Kings to eliminate it.”

Alan looked at him. “What do you think?”

For the first time, a faint smile appeared on Sebastian’s normally blank face.
