Reborn: Apocalypse Ready. War Goddess by My Side novel Chapter 134

Finished

Steven smiled. “Don’t worry. Em prepared. You two should head to class.”

“Steven, where are you right now”

“At the hunting grounds.”

Bianca’s eyes lit up in surprise. “Mr. Reid got the approval for you?”

Steven nodded with a grin. “Yeah. I figured I’d give it a try. Besides, I didn’t feel like going to class anyway.”

Serena looked shocked that he could already enter the hunting ground.

Bianca pouted. “I wanna go with you too.”

Steven chuckled. “Be good. Once you reach the second sigil, you can come too. Right now, the academy treasures you way too much.”

“Okay,” Bianca nodded with puffed cheeks. “Then be careful, Steven.”

“Mm. I’ll take you out for dinner tonight.”

Bianca smiled sweetly. “Okay. Serena should come too.”

Steven smiled and nodded. “Sure. Let’s all go together.”

Watching how sweet the two of them were together, Serena honestly felt a little envious.

Soon, the video call ended.

Steven raised a brow. “She changed that fast?”

It honestly felt a little too fast to him.

Still, whether Lilliana was sincere or not, the fact that she had spoken up with good intentions was still a good thing.

For now, he decided not to think too deeply about it.

Then, Steven let out a cold laugh. He’d known it. Those guys from this morning had definitely been Spencer’s doing!

Spencer, huh? Since you want to play, I’ll play along with you.

Steven scanned his identity credentials and entered the beginner hunting grounds.

The hunting grounds were located in the northernmost part of the academy, an area frequently visited by high–sigil students.

And he wouldn’t complain about getting more beast crystals.

The evolution speed of the Wind–Fire Divine Sigil could take its time. It wasn’t something he cared too much about anyway.

He might as well take advantage of the academy’s resources while he could.

As for exchanging divine crystals for beast crystals, he couldn’t bring himself to do that.

Besides, with only a B–rank Divine Sigil, if he suddenly started claiming too many resources, it would definitely attract the academy’s attention.

A beast–type Divine Sigil was something unprecedented.

Before he had enough strength, he couldn’t reveal it carelessly. He had no interest in being dragged off and treated like a lab subject.

The hunting grounds were a vast, densely overgrown jungle, lush with towering greenery and tangled vegetation. It was a rare sight in the steel jungle of Rowenville.

But honestly, the air in this wild forest felt exceptionally fresh.

Steven smiled and started.

Holding his spear, he started heading deeper into the forest.

The hunting grounds covered an enormous area and required tremendous resources to construct.

In an age where every inch of land was worth a fortune,/setting aside such a massive zone in the middle of the city for students to fight and train in was no easy feat.

Still, it was standard for every Awakened Academy. Every academy was required to have one.

Time to start farming resources!

Fiona had never truly experienced hardship. She didn’t want to keep living like that.

That was why she refused to join the military.

The military would only slowly turn her into nothing more than a beautiful ornament for everyone to admire.

She cast aside every distracting thought and focused solely on sharpening her combat instincts through slaughter.

Fiona ignored the filthy beast’s blood splattering across her body and paid no attention to the small wounds appearing on her skin.

Blood gradually stained her armor red. Her only obsession was to become stronger.

Even as exhaustion made her chest rise and fall violently, she still gritted her teeth and pressed on.

She continued carving her way deeper into the forest.

And just like that, she fought nonstop for nearly two hours.

With one final slash, Fiona severed the head of the last Bloodfang Rat in front of her.

Then she collapsed onto the ground. She felt utterly exhausted, yet strangely refreshed.

In the past, she had always been protected by others and had never been able to fight so freely before.

She believed that as long as she kept this up, her combat awareness would only grow stronger and

stronger.
