Chapter 132 Stop Blocking Us

Though honestly, he didn’t seem to need it that badly right now.

“Got it. Thank you, Mr. Reid.”

Steven muttered to himself. Maybe I should still go take a look. It would count as valuable experience anyway, and you can never have too many beast crystals.

“Steven, are you going to class this afternoon?” Luke asked.

Steven shook his head. “Nah. I’m skipping it. You guys go ahead.”

Luke and Chad both smiled bitterly.

Chad said, “You seriously give off the energy of one of those top students back in high school, while the rest of us dumbasses cling on to you for survival.”

Steven’s eyes flickered. “Don’t worry. In this lifetime, I’ll help all of you.”

The three of them froze for a moment and stared at Steven.

Luke shivered dramatically. “That was way too cheesy. Steven, your orientation is normal, right?”

Steven laughed and cursed, “Get lost!”

About 1:00 p.m., Bianca walked out of the dorm building arm in arm with her roommate, Serena Hartley, before class started. The two of them chatted and laughed, clearly getting along well.

After entering the elevator, it stopped at the next floor, and the doors opened.

Their laughter instantly stopped.

Bianca’s expression cooled at once because Lilliana was standing outside.

Lilliana also froze for a moment when she saw Bianca.

But Vita still pulled her into the elevator.

The atmosphere inside instantly became awkward.

r

They were all classmates in S–Class, so they all knew about the tension between Lilliana and Bianca.

Bianca didn’t want to speak and simply acted as though she hadn’t seen Lilliana.

Lilliana’s emotions still hadn’t stabilized because of what Steven had said earlier.

In that awkward silence, the elevator finally reached the first floor.

“Come on, Lilliana,” Vita said as she pulled the absentminded Lilliana out of the elevator.

Only then did Lilliana follow her out.

Serena cautiously leaned close to Bianca’s ear and whispered, “Bianca, did you notice something off about Lilliana today?”

She nodded. “It has nothing to do with me. After the way she treated Steven, I don’t want anything to do with her.”

Serena nodded as well.

But just as the two girls stepped out of the dorm building, someone blocked their path.

Spencer wore what he believed to be a warm and charming smile.

“Hello, Bianca. We meet again.”

Both Bianca and Serena felt a wave of discomfort hit their skin. Spencer really was the type of person that was impossible to shake off. He had already come to bother them this morning, and now he was back!

But both girls were timid by nature and didn’t dare provoke him too much.

After all, he was a Three–Sigil Divine Adept.

Bianca said indifferently, “Please don’t block me. And please stop waiting around for me.”

Spencer smiled and shook his head. “Don’t be upset. I really don’t have any bad intentions. I just want to be friends with you. Just approve my StarComm request, and I won’t bother you anymore after that.”

Bianca’s delicate brows furrowed slightly. “Really?”

An impulse rose in her heart. Should I tell Bianca the truth?

“Hmph. I’d like to see how much longer you can keep jumping around.”

Spencer sneered contemptuously before contacting someone else.

The call connected. “Mr. Read?”

Spencer said coldly, “Help me teach someone a lesson.”

Bianca and Serena quickly walked away.

Meanwhile, Lilliana and Vita watched their backs as they slowly followed behind them.

Vita whispered, “I heard Spencer isn’t a good person.”

Lilliana’s expression was complicated.

r

“Lilliana, what’s wrong with you today? You’ve seemed completely out of it the entire time.”

She shook her head. “I’m fine.”

But bitterness filled her heart.

“Lilliana, there’s nothing wrong with being a little pragmatic in life. But if you judge everything through the lens of self–interest, then you’re wrong”

Steven’s words continued echoing endlessly in her mind.
