Reborn: Apocalypse Ready. War Goddess by My Side novel Chapter 103

The students listened closely.

“In everyone’s mind, a B–rank’s upper limit should be a Three–Sigil Divine Adept.

“But I’m telling you right now–you’re wrong!”

The class focused on her words. Wrong?

Steven smiled faintly. The dream she was selling sounded believable enough, but how many people could actually pull it off?

Wendy turned toward one of the teachers nearby.

The teacher stepped forward.

Light from his Divine Sigil rank burst from his body.

A green glow rippled through the room.

Then one Divine Sigil after another appeared.

Marks lit up on all four of the man’s limbs.

Four of them!

A B–rank Four–Sigil Divine Knight!

The entire room fell dead silent.

It completely shattered everything they thought they knew.

How was this even possible? A mere B–rank Divine Sigil… evolving into a Four–Sigil Divine Knight?

Every student stared at the teacher in disbelief.

The green glow around his Divine Sigil was clearly B–rank.

But he was still a Four–Sigil Divine Knight!

It stunned nearly everyone there.

Steven stayed calm. He had already seen this once in his previous life.

Cases like this did exist.

But they were incredibly rare.

And it could only happen with a single attribute.

Wendy was obviously trying to motivate the students.

Still, the effect was immediate.

A lot of students suddenly burned with the desire to evolve.

Wendy kept going. “I could stand here and lecture you all day, but seeing the truth for yourself means a lot

more.

“You want proof? Look at Marcus. He only has a B–rank Divine Sigil, and he still reached a Four–Sigil Divine Knight. If he can do it, there’s no reason you can’t.”

Some of the students were already getting fired up.

Yeah. If Marcus could do it, why couldn’t they?

Wendy just smiled, calm and composed. She could tell she’d already gotten through to them.

“So work hard. Don’t end up being the student who gets kicked out a year from now.”

After that, she moved on to the school rules and class arrangements.

Steven had already stopped paying attention.

He had already pulled out a divine crystal and quietly started absorbing its energy to evolve.

Every second mattered.

By the time Wendy finished speaking and the other nine teachers gave their introductions, nearly an hour had passed.

Wendy finally dismissed the class and told everyone to head to the virtual combat training hall for their strength evaluation.

The students started making their way out.

Luke glanced at Steven and raised a brow. “You’re already evolving during the first class? Man, how desperate are you to get stronger?”

Chad and Luke nodded. “Good idea.”

Everyone turned to Steven.

“What about you, Steven?”

Steven smiled and nodded. “Sure. But you guys better hurry up and get stronger. Otherwise, I’ll end up being the captain.”

“The captain obviously belongs to the handsome one here,” Luke declared proudly.

Chad rolled his eyes. “Excuse me? Aren’t I the boss here?”

Seamus puffed out his chest. “What, I’m not allowed? I’m basically a walking encyclopedia.”

“Yeah right, you’re a ‘walking encyclopedia–more like a walking joke.”

The group kept joking around as they walked.

Not long later, they arrived at the virtual combat training hall.

Steven paused for a moment. Bianca and the others should be around here somewhere, right?

From what he remembered, the S–ranks were probably training in the advanced training hall.

“Hey, you guys go on ahead.” Steven said. “I need to use the bathroom Just let Tyrant Rose know for me later. It’s not like class is starting anytime soon anyway.”

Seamus muttered, “Man, lazy people always need to use the bathroom.”

Steven had already walked off.

But not long after he left, the other three had barely entered before Oscar and his group blocked their path.

Oscar frowned. “Where’s your other roommate?”

Chad and Luke’s expressions darkened.

“Damn it. Let’s go!”
