"You're out of your mind." Seth shook off his hand. "We eat here, or we don't eat at all."

Jude wanted to cry. "I'm just trying to save you from a mental breakdown, man."

"Breakdown over what?"

Jude stammered until Seth leveled him with a glare. He confessed, "I saw Noreen eating with someone."

Seth stiffened.

"She told me she had a lunch meeting."

"It's a guy," Jude muttered.

"Probably a business partner."

Jude gave him a deeply complicated look.

Reading his friend's expression, Seth furrowed his brow. "It's Dylan Wilder."

It wasn't a question. It was a statement.

Jude nodded.

Seth's face turned icy.

He had taken his eyes off her for one second, and Dylan immediately swooped in.

"So, like I said, let's go somewhere else," Jude pleaded.
