Elara
I closed the distance between us.
Came in closer, cutting him off, my hands sliding up his chest to his shoulders. He blinked, startled, but I didn't give him time to ask. I tilted my head and kissed him, hard, pressing into him until his back hit the counter.
His mouth opened under mine—still talking, still trying to say something about hormones or stress or whatever the fuck he’d been droning on about. I didn’t let him. My fingers dug into his jaw, holding his face still, my tongue forcing his lips apart. He made a sound in surprise, maybe protest but I swallowed it, bit down on his lower lip hard enough to taste the iron.
His hands came up, caught my wrists. "Elara—"
I twisted free. Didn’t stop.
One hand fisted in his shirt, the other yanking at his belt. The buckle clinked against the counter as I dragged it open. He tried to pull back.
"wait, slow down, are you sure—"
I pushed. I didn’t want to hear it. I shoved his shirt up, my nails scraping his ribs, and then my mouth was on his throat, his collarbone, the stupid words dying in his chest.
He exhaled sharply; that was him giving up.
His hands dropped to my hips, fingers digging in as he held on.
