Chapter 304 Samuel’s Reputation Will Be Ruined
Chapter 304 Samuel’s Reputation Will Be Ruined
Third–person POV:
The next morning, Samuel finally opened his eyes.
He stepped out of the ice coffin.
Greer asked, “How do you feel now?”
Samuel smiled. “I feel great. My strength is back.”
But he’d missed Morgana’s birthday party. No telling how furious she must be now.

Greer’s brows were still tightly furrowed. “You need to be careful. We still don’t know what caused these new symptoms.”
Samuel nodded. “I understand. I’ll be careful.
“I’ll also have someone look into where the food I ate yesterday came from and see whether someone poisoned it.”
Even though Alphas had strong bodies, there were always strange poisons that could harm them.
Especially for an alpha like him–one already carrying a curse.
Greer nodded. “Alright. I’ll also take a closer look at your serum. I’ll be staying here for a while.”
“Thank you,” Samuel said sincerely.
After leaving the basement, Samuel immediately went to find Morgana and apologize.
Morgana puffed out her cheeks. “What’s the point of apologizing now? The party’s over! Now everyone thinks you don’t care about me at all!”
Samuel gently ruffled her hair. “I’m really sorry. I had something important to deal with, so I couldn’t come.”
“What was it?” Morgana pressed. “And what were you doing in your bedroom yesterday? There was this awful smell. Laila smelled it, and her whole face changed.”
“Huh?”
Samuel froze.
He’d rushed over to comfort Morgana and hadn’t gone back to his bedroom yet.
Hearing this, his heart sank.
He immediately turned and went to his bedroom.
But a whole night had passed, and the windows were left open, so all the scents had vanished.
Even the messy bed had been cleaned up by the housekeepers early that morning. There wasn’t a trace left.
He wanted to go ask Laila about it, but Greer had told him not to leave Frostwind Pack for now. No one knew when his new

condition might act up again. If it happened while he was with Laila, it would définitely scare her.
So Samuel decided to wait until he was in better shape before asking Laila about it.

Meanwhile, over at Frostfang Pack, Estelle had been searching for Freya.
But strangely, it was like Freya had vanished into thin air. No matter how hard they looked, they couldn’t find her.
“I did send her into Samuel’s bedroom. And I didn’t leave until I heard them mating,” Jenna said.
Jenna left out one detail: she had been distracted when the man walked in, so she hadn’t actually seen his face. But who else would be entering Samuel’s bedroom at that hour?
She knew that if she said this, Estelle would blame her for not getting the job done right.
She didn’t want to get scolded.
Seeing how confident she sounded, Estelle believed her.
Her daughter could be unreliable, but surely she couldn’t mess up something this simple.
Estelle frowned. “Maybe Samuel locked her up. He probably wants to keep this quiet so Laila doesn’t find out.”
Jenna asked, “So what do we do now? What if he kills Freya? Then we’ll have nothing left to use.”
Estelle smiled. “Do you think locking her up solves anything? Keeping Freya quiet won’t fix this.
“Before sending her away, I put a tiny tracking device in her last meal. It’s likely sitting in her stomach right now.
“It takes three days to activate. We’ll wait. When the time comes, we’ll go find her.”
Jenna couldn’t help but smile. “You really think of everything, Mother. Once we find Freya—the rape and imprisoning a minor… This time, Samuel’s reputation will be completely ruined.”
