He couldn’t reach me, so he sent a message in the group chat, but nobody

replied. He slumped onto the sofa, finding that all the matching items I bought 

were gone. 

He lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. Why… why she left?

He kept telling himself that I’d come back as long as he apologized.

He couldn’t sleep, constantly checking his phone. The next day, Suzie 

replied him with a photo. He excitedly clicked on it, only to freeze. It was a 

wedding photo.

It was me, in a white dress, smiling at my groom, which was not him.

He was stunned. Another message appeared.

“Looking for Rosie? She is getting married next week in her hometown. The 

groom is perfect for her!” 

Next week? He refused to believe it. He thought I was just being mad and 

waiting for him to apologize.

He tried to contact me again, but Suzie said to him coldly, “What, you wanna

ruin her wedding? Forget it! You don’t deserve her. Go away!”
