Chapter 859
Boom!
Gilmore raised his palm.
Anima shot out, striking Glar with such force that he was sent flying.
Glar spat out a mouthful of fresh blood in midair, then plummeted down, crashing violently into the ground and creating a huge crater on the concrete street.
Then, Gilmore’s gaze shifted toward Zaha, Abul, and the other werewolf leaders, now miles away, as well as the three to four hundred scattered werewolf warriors who were fleeing like remnants of a defeated army.
A cold smile played on Gilmore’s lips. “Think you can escape? It’s not going to be that easy!”
Next, a glint of sharpness flashed in his eyes, and his hands moved swiftly to form seals, his mouth murmuring an incantation.
As his hands wove the seals and the incantation hummed, an overwhelming and vast aura of power began to permeate heavens and earth, magnificent and startling!
As for Zaha and the other werewolf leaders, they had managed to flee miles in the blink of an eye.
They had thought that with Glar’s sacrificial stand, they could hold off Cilmore long enough to escape with their lives.
But what they hadn’t anticipated came in the form of a resounding boom from the heavens, as the space around them trembled.
Above them, a dazzling golden radiance burst forth like the brilliance of the sun itself, showering down from the sky without end
The eight werewolf leaders were completely taken aback by this spectacle.

They looked up to see the endless golden COMMENT light cascading from above, coming from a colossal circular luminous wheel in the sky.
This massive wheel slowly rotated above, its surface flickering with mysterious and ancient runes.
The light from these runes converged, harboring a breathtaking force that was almost suffocating, gathering in the sky with a terrifying might.
Before they could even snap out of their astonishment, a deafening sound akin to thunder rumbled from the colossal wheel of light above.
Crack! Crack!
Crack, crack, crack, crack!
As if commanded by the rumbling of thunder, golden lightning bolts cascaded down from the luminous wheel, striking Zaha and the other seven werewolf leaders one after another.
Each bolt of golden lightning found its mark on a werewolf leader, eliciting a sky–piercing howl of agony.
None of the eight leaders could dodge the golden lightning summoned by the wheel.
Struck by the electrifying force, they plummeted to the ground in succession.

Likewise, the werewolf warriors who were scattering in retreat also met their end under the strikes of golden lightning emanating from the same wheel, each warrior matched with a bolt of their own.
Amidst cries of despair, hundreds of werewolf warriors were reduced to ashes under the relentless barrage.
Thus, from the nine werewolf leaders to the thousands of their warriors, all either lay dead or gravely wounded.
With the annihilation of the werewolf forces, Gilmore in the sky above withdrew the golden wheel–a mighty formation.
After retracting the formation, Gilmore’s figure moved, descending onto the square.
However, he did not land within the purple light shield on the square.
Then, with a hand sign and a few whispered incantations, the purple light shield on the square dissolved into nothingness.
This left Lilian, Claire, and the other ladies a few steps behind, unable to squeeze through the crowd, let alone exchange words with Gilmore.
With that, Gilmore remembered something and said to Aguilar, Aguilar, those werewolf leaders have been severely injured by my formation and have lost their martial arts.
“Now, have them brought to me, I’d like to interrogate them.”
Aguilar promptly replied, “Please wait a moment, Mr. Reed, I will have them brought here immediately.”
After giving his instructions, Aguilar turned and commanded about twenty to thirty robust young men to find and bring back the nine werewolf leaders.
Of the nine werewolf leaders, all but Glar were dead.
The remaining eight were alive but severely injured, with faces contorted in pain, their eyes dim, stripped of the once aloof and superior demeanor of werewolf leaders.
However, Abul, with an unyielding tone, snapped back, “You can forget about us revealing the location of our den to you.”

The other werewolf leaders also radiated an indomitable spirit. We will never tell you where our den is.”
Gilmore responded coolly. “Whether you tell me or not doesn’t matter. Either way, I already know where it is.”
After saying this, Gilmore turned to Aguilar and ordered, “Aguilar, do away with these werewolf leaders.”
Aguilar and the others showed surprise on their faces, “Just like that, execute the werewolf leaders?”
Could it be that Gilmore really knew where the werewolves‘ den was?

Even though they didn’t know the actual situation, seeing the unwavering confidence in Gilmore’s eyes made Aguilar think that Gilmore must know the location of the werewolves‘ den.
Otherwise, he couldn’t be so composed and assured.
A smile of pleasure broke out on Aguilar’s face as he promptly agreed with Gilmore.
Then, Aguilar called out to the strong young men, “Quick, kill these werewolf leaders
Swish!
A bevy of robust young men drew daggers from within their clothes and charged toward the nine werewolf leaders.
The werewolf leaders turned ashen–faced in an instant.
Despite their bravado about not fearing death, when they truly faced their end, they were scared out of their wits.
