Chapter 84 A Favor He Won’t Forget
After hanging up, Neal called his assistant in. “Cancel everything today.”
The assistant blinked, confused. “All of it? You have several important meetings—”
Neal didn’t seem to hear him. His mind was already somewhere else, thinking about seeir Agnes soon.
“Mr. Ruell, the CEO from X Company is coming today. We’ve been trying to set this up fo
“You handle it,” Neal said, cutting him off.
“Wait?! Me? Mr. Ruell? Where are you going?”
Neal ignored him. He grabbed his suit and walked out of the office, eager for his meeting.
He picked Agnes up and took her to St. Austen University.
Since Neal came with her in person, everything went smoothly. Her enrollment was process quickly, and she was officially admitted the same day.
Afterward, Neal showed her around campus. He told her funny stories about college life, making her laugh.
“Oh right,” Agnes said, suddenly remembering. “That restaurant you took me to last time, hov far in advance did you book it? I wanted to take my friend there and tried to make a reservation, but it was impossible.”
Neal smiled. “You liked it? I’ll make a call for you. From now on, whenever you want to go, just walk in. No reservation needed.”
Agnes stared at him in surprise. “Wait, does your family own that place?”
Neal chuckled. “No. I just know the owner. It’s nothing.”
“Wow. That’s impressive. Thank you, seriously!”
He waved it off. “You’re impressive too. If you run into any problems at school, just come to me. I’ve already spoken to the staff, they’ll help you out.”
Agnes blinked, touched. “Neal, you’re too kind to me. I don’t even know how to repay you.”
Neal grinned. “Then just put it in the book. You can pay me back later.”
He make her laughed. The two of them kept chatting as they walked, relaxed and happy.

“Hey, Duncan! What are you looking at?” a boy asked as he walked up.
Duncan turned and saw it was Ethan. “Nothing. Let’s go.”
He gave Ethan’s shoulder a light pat and started walking but couldn’t help glancing back at M and Agnes.
What is Agnes doing here? And why isn’t she with Raymond?
The thought of Raymond made his leg ache. Last time, someone had broken his leg. He still hadn’t let that go.
Duncan feared Raymond. When Raymond first returned home, Duncan didn’t take him seriously at all. But reality proved him wrong. Every time Duncan tried to challenge him— openly or in secret—he lost. Badly.
Raymond was taller. Better-looking. Smarter. Even in fights, Duncan never stood a chance.
Ever since Raymond came back, Duncan—the spoiled troublemaker no one dared to touch- had been completely put in his place.
As he grew older, he also learned the messy truth about Judy and Jillian’s past. That made him even more afraid. He knew that one day, Raymond might kick him, his mother, and his sister out of the family.
Especially after his leg was broken, Duncan understood something clearly-Raymond didn’t just want them gone.
He wanted to wipe them out completely and take full control of the Newton Group.
Duncan looked at Agnes, deep in thought. He hadn’t interacted with her much. He only knew that his mother and sister both disliked her.
But now, it didn’t matter. Anyone close to Raymond, he hated them all.
Duncan also studied at St. Austen University, and Ethan was one of his closest friends there.
Duncan glanced at him and asked, “Hey, Ethan, I heard you’ve got a girlfriend now?”
Ethan shrugged. “Hmm, not really. There’s this girl who likes me. I’m single anyway, so I’m just going with it.”
Duncan snorted. “You? Single? Come on. You’ve always got someone. Sounds more like you’re playing games again.”

Ethan laughed. “She’s not even from our school. She’s from that college next door. Always following me around. What can I do? I’m too nice to say no.”
Duncan raised an eyebrow. “No wonder I haven’t seen you lately. Skipping out whenever you don’t have class, huh?”
Ethan grinned pervertedly. He looked around before leaning in closer. He lowered his voice
“I rented her a place near her school. I told her it belongs to a relative of mine, so she doesn’ have to pay rent. I take her out, buy her food, movies… and yeah, that’s all it took.”
Duncan narrowed his eyes, getting more intrigued. “Oh? That’s all it took? You mean…”
Ethan smirked, clearly pleased with himself. “Yeah. First time for her.”
Duncan frowned. “Man, that’s messed up. You’re a jerk. And you still don’t call her your girlfriend?”
Ethan waved it off. “Relax. I’m too young to be tied down. She’s kind of naive anyway. She believes whatever I say.”
Duncan clicked his tongue. “You’re unbelievable.”
Ethan laughed and threw an arm over Duncan’s shoulder. “Hey, you want to see something interesting?”
Duncan looked at him, confused. Ethan pulled out his phone and opened his gallery. Inside were the photos and sex tape of him and the girl together.
