Something immensely pristine and magisterial was emerging!
Noah looked up, and the Dimension itself was splitting apart! The heavy skies of THE Krazhor-Nul tore open along a widening seam as white and gold light pulsed outward for light years, waves of pristine radiance rolling across the storm and flattening it, and through the tear, condensing out of the light with unbearable slowness...was a limb!
It formed lengthwise, vast and pale and rounded, extending down through the split skies in a long thick column of white-gold flesh, and Noah stared up at its emerging shape with his astonishment slowly acquiring a very specific quality.
No way, right?
The limb kept extending! Long, cylindrical, rounded at its emerging tip, radiating apex grandeur across light years, and Noah, THE True Human Emperor, found himself tilting his head at the boon descending from his most sacred Foundation as a single unworthy thought refused to leave.
No. No way. The Tide wouldn’t!
And then hair erupted across it!
Pristine white hairs bloomed along the entire column in cascading waves, silken and radiant and flowing, and the shape resolved at last into what it had always been becoming, a tail!
A colossal severed tail of some Primeval being, its white-gold hairs drifting weightlessly across the torn sky, each strand humming with power, and Noah breathed out in relief.
But this was only the first.
Two more auras bloomed through the tear, and both of them exceeded the limb of the Primeval One floating below by at least tens of times. The whole golden island groaned under their arrival as Emotive grabbed Seo-yeon close, and the second emergence condensed into view.
It was a portion of a brain!
A vast hemisphere of white-gold cerebral matter, its folded surface glowing along every ridge and valley, a cerebral cortex of some apex existence with rivers of luminous thought-essense still flickering through its folds like trapped lightning, dead and yet dreaming, its presense pressing down with a weight that made Intent itself feel observed!
And lastly...came the bubble.
It emerged smallest of the three, a translucent sphere no larger than a palace, and it was undoubtedly the most astonishing and heart-shaking of them all! For within the bubble drifted cells. Ancient, colossal, slowly-turning cells of pure white-gold, each one a cathedral of primordial architecture, their membranes woven from layered lattices of proto-existence, their nuclei burning like compressed dawns! They were totipotent, the primeval root-cells from which anything could grow, flesh or organ or appendage or existence itself, undifferentiated and therefore unlimited, each one humming with the terrifying patience of matter that had not yet chosen what to become! Merely gazing at them, Noah’s Sight could perceive infinite branching futures folded inside every membrane, wings and eyes and hearts and things without names, all of them waiting, all of them possible!
And the moment all three finished forming, the prompts arrived.
THE Tide That Owes Nothing has answered the single greatest act of giving you have ever performed. You strained your existence to claim true ownership of a Primeval One’s limb, and gave it away freely in the same breath. The Sharpened Returns have reached across depths I cannot source, and I will catalogue what has emerged.
First: THE Blank Caudal of the Unwritten Primeval. A template tail-appendage of Primeval grade, unwritten by any Intent.
Second: THE Blank Cortex of the Unwritten Primeval. A template cerebral appendage of Primeval grade, likewise unwritten.
Third: THE Primeval Totipotent Cell Source. A preserved cluster of Primeval totipotent cells, the root-matter of apex existence itself, capable of becoming anything.
"Catch the other two! They will disappear in a nanosecond if left alone!"
"COME!"
Noah bellowed as he unleashed everything!
His Intent erupted at its fused grandeur as his Osmontian Source Infinity poured out in continental tides, cerulean seas crashing around the bubble from every direction, and he barely, barely surrounded the cluster, his power straining against that tyrannical basal Intent like hands around a falling star! It was not enough to hold. He could feel it! The cells looked down upon his grip and were already leaving, and to actually obtain them, to take them into his existence, he would have to exert everything and then more than everything.
And through the strain, prompts buzzed in his mind.
From your immense giving, you have also gained 5,000,000 Osmontian Biomass. Current reserves: 5,163,000.
Five million!
The number landed, and Noah did not celebrate it, he spent it.
"All facets of my existence, upgrade them to Rank C! And my Intent..." His roar tore across the light-flooded sky as the cells strained against his seas! "Take THE Ananke Intent of THE Quintessential Osmontian to Rank B!"
Executing everything at once, Master. The required number of Osmontian Biomass will vary for different upgrades of your existence as your existence has been rapidly elevating from the surroundings and from the foods and products you have been consuming.
...!
