Galaxy's Only Triple-S: Five Lords Can't Hold Her novel Chapter 157

Chapter 157 I’m Interested In Her peer!!!!

On the armchair across the room, Tyrone sat with one leg crossed, twisting a tiny scanner between his fingers. Its green indicator light blinked steadily in the dim room, sweeping over the walls, the air vents,

gove and the space under the bed.

The light flipped to a calm, safe blue.

“Place is clean, huh? Not even a basic bug anywhere,” Tyrone said lightly. “I figured we’d have to tear the place apart playing hide-and-seek to find them.”

Quentin walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, grabbing a clean black T-shirt and pulling it on. “The villa’s security system hooks straight into a Central Brain branch node. Planting bugs here would be totally pointless.”

Tyrone flipped his wrist, and a tiny silver Holo-bracelet appeared in his palm. He set it down on the desk and activated the projection. A dozen virtual screens popped up mid-air, all packed full of blinking red warnings.

“We’ve been on Prime Planet a full seven days now.” Tyrone pointed at the lines of red code, his smile fading. “In seven days, we’ve dug through every public network on the planet’s outskirts and every fringe database we could find. And we’ve got nothing to show for it.”

Quentin’s gaze settled on the virtual screens, too.

“Prime Planet’s firewalls are brutal to crack.” Tyrone’s long fingers tapped fast across the virtual keyboard, pulling up a half-corrupted file. “Every record related to that storm back then? All top-classified. We put in all that work, and the trail just dies right here.”

Ten years ago. Earth was destroyed.

Official stories said it was a perfect storm-rampant space pirates, constant insectoid warfare, and a massive interstellar storm all hitting at once.

But Tyrone and Quentin had spent years crawling around the black market, with access to dark web intel no regular person could get their hands on. They’d found out the so-called interstellar storm was nothing but a man-made energy collapse.

Some hidden, shadowy force had erased every last trace that Earth had ever existed.

And only the top brass on Prime Planet had the power to pull something like that off.

“Central Brain matching us to her? It’s a fluke-but it’s also an opening,” Quentin said evenly. “The people in this villa have access to the core secrets.”

Tyrone smiled again, his eyes crinkling. He swiped a hand through the air and shut down all the virtual

hrough the air and

“Right.” Tyrone ticked off the three of them one by one. “Baar’s a pure soldier, all brawn, no politics. The military’s secret keys won’t be on him. The Hurst Group’s got all the money in the world, but they’re locked out of the actual government…”

Quentin picked up where he left off. “Cheiron. He’s the only one who can get those keys.”

“Bingo.” Tyrone snapped his fingers. “The Academy of Sciences database has everything, and it’s closer to Central Brain than any other system. If we can get our hands on Cheiron’s biometric sample-or even just a slice of his access-we can at least crack open the truth about Earth.”

Quentin said nothing, just listened quietly.

Tyrone said, “But he’s no idiot. We’re gonna need a way in.”

Once they were done with business, the tension in the room eased up.

Quentin stared down at the floor, short strands of white hair falling over his eyes, lost in thought.

In the quiet room, Tyrone suddenly snickered.

“What’s so funny?” Quentin didn’t look up, his tone flat and cold.

“You, that’s what.” Tyrone stood up, walked over, and sat down next to Quentin on the bed. “Back in the living room downstairs-when Ms. Greene looked over at you, why’d you flinch like that?”

Quentin finally looked up. He turned to meet Tyrone’s gaze straight on, no hesitation in his eyes.

“I’m interested in her. There was no awkwardness, no beating around the bush.

The room went dead silent for two full seconds.

The smile froze completely on Tyrone’s face. “Wait-you’re serious?”

“Yeah.” Quentin nodded firmly. “First time I saw her, back in the Valoran Galaxy, I knew she was different. Most females are fragile, but not her.”

Quentin paused, his Adam’s apple bobbing slightly. He thought back to the way Margaret had looked at Ardon-casual, like she didn’t have a care în the world, but totally in control the whole time.

He continued, “And you said it yourself before-she’s probably already figured out who we really are. And even then, she still let us move in. She’s not scared of us. She wants to use us.”

Quentin’s voice dropped lower, thick with a fascination he didn’t even realize he had. “And more than that, an SSS-class female’s spiritual power is insane. Even when she’s not trying to use it, just being in the same room as her, that quiet aura she gives off calms down the constant, restless energy in my own spiritual power. That level of pure soothing ability? You won’t find anyone else like that in the whole galaxy.”

That equal, back-and-forth game of wits, paired with her mysterious, overwhelming spiritual power, made Quentin’s long-quiet heart skip a beat.

Tyrone stared at Quentin, who acted like this was all totally normal. He clapped a hand to his chest, putting on a dramatic, heartbroken look.

“We’re screwed. Totally screwed.” Tyrone threw his head back and groaned. “A hitman who catches real feelings? How’s he supposed to hold onto his knife after that?”
