Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All novel Chapter 301

Chapter 301: 301-His Dick Is Everywhere

Verity:

This wasn’t Jaguar or Theodore, people I had that kind of comfort with.

With Ragnar, it always seemed forced, and yet somehow, the words kept coming out naturally.

He shifted behind me, then craned his neck over my shoulder and repeated it in the bitterest tone.

"Get out of my room. Hop out. Get out of my room," he whispered.

"Um, I actually– okay, listen. I didn’t come back to see you naked," I said.

"I said leave," he demanded.

"No, I will, but I have to discuss something with you. It’s really important."

I hesitantly started tapping my foot against the floor.

He was standing behind me now, so I opened my eyes.

Unfortunately, there was a decorative piece in front of me covered in tiny mirrors, and in one of them, I could see him standing behind me, still wearing nothing.

It seemed like he’d dropped the cushion because he thought I wasn’t going to turn around.

Thankfully, his crotch was hidden behind me because I was standing directly in front of him, so I couldn’t see that part in the decorative piece.

I could only see his shoulders and his towering reflection.

Thankfully, the decorative piece wasn’t close enough for me to make out exactly how angry he looked, but I could hear him breathing like a bull behind me.

"We’ll talk about it in the morning," he hissed.

I lifted my hands, trying to calm myself down, and let out a deep breath.

"We don’t need to talk about it," I whispered calmly, hoping he’d understand. "I might have made some comments, but it didn’t look bad."

"What?" he questioned.

"I mean, we don’t need to talk about your dick. It’s fine, okay? I mean, I didn’t even want to look at it that closely, and I definitely didn’t mean to comment."

I kept yapping until he grunted, silencing me.

"I was talking about the stuff you wanted to discuss."

"Why the heck would you—and why? I know it’s okay," he added, almost yelling.

I’d never heard Ragnar this irritated.

He was usually stern, cold, angry, but irritated and annoyed?

Yeah, well, I guess I had that effect on people.

I was pretty annoying.

"Oh, yeah, obviously. Yes," I said, jumping slightly. "I wanted to talk about something. It’s about Jenna."

I quickly let the words slip out before he could stop me.

"Listen, if anybody asks you where she’s been sneaking out to—"

I paused when I heard him speak.

"At nighttime, when I go for a jog and she rushes back in through the window? Even when a certain secretary of mine helps her hide behind a wall? Is that what we’re talking about?"

I felt as if my whole world had stopped.

"Oh," I breathed. "So you know?"

I mumbled awkwardly, slowly lifting a hand to the back of my neck and scratching it before pulling all my hair over one shoulder so I could massage my neck a little.

Well, I was getting anxious now.

"See—"

I paused, making little sounds under my breath while trying to figure out whether he was angry, ready to punish me, annoyed, or about to fire me.

"You think I don’t know anything, Miss Verity?"

His voice suddenly went calm.

That was when I felt something press against my lower back, and my body jolted.

I immediately raised both hands.
