"Right now, we need everyone pulling their weight. Who isn't under pressure? You aren't the only one feeling the heat. It seems you had it too easy over at the Blake Group, Miss Ward. You clearly aren't used to our fast-paced environment.

"Enough. The timeline is set. Get to work, Bella. Time waits for no one."

Bella gritted her teeth. She was already swamped and had been hoping to push the deadline back.

That way, she would have more time to handle her private affairs.
