Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 1248

Noah's small body trembled slightly, his mind reeling with confusion. How did his dad know?

Sebastian hadn't allowed him to leave the house or use his phone or tablet over the past few days. But the villa wasn't a fortress, and he wasn't completely cut off from the outside world. There were landlines scattered throughout the house. While there were plenty of servants, none of them were ordered to watch Noah twenty-four hours a day. He still had plenty of freedom indoors.

For the past two years, Bella had been the one raising him. That was exactly when Noah's intense hatred for Lillian began.

Sebastian had never noticed it before. Or rather, he hadn't cared enough to look.

But now, he finally saw Bella's viciousness and realized the true extent of the damage she had caused.

Noah's rejection and hatred of Lillian had seeped deep into his bones.

Yet, for the first three years of his life, Lillian had raised him herself.

Shouldn't there be a profound bond between mother and son?

Bella truly was a vicious shrew to have poisoned his son's mind so thoroughly.

Sebastian's gaze was colder than Noah had ever seen.

He was terrified.

But despite his fear, he remembered Bella's instructions to never let anyone know...

"I didn't... I haven't seen Auntie Bella."

Sebastian scoffed. "You think you can lie to me? To contact her, you'd have to use the house phone."

Without another word, he called out, "Lester, get in here."

When Sebastian didn't pull away, he cried, "Dad, I only want Auntie Bella as my mom. I don't want everyone to know I have a murderer for a mother. The other kids will look down on me, avoid me, and laugh at me!"

At that moment, everything clicked for Sebastian.

Noah's previous outburst had been triggered by encountering his unhinged grandmother. Under Sebastian's recent strict guidance, the boy had actually been accepting reality quite well.

For him to suddenly throw a massive tantrum at this critical juncture meant only one thing: someone had deliberately sabotaged his hard work.

The only possible culprit was Bella.

His men had nearly turned Northwyn upside down looking for Debbie Harris but came up empty-handed. He had long suspected Bella was hiding her.

Now, she was extending her claws toward his son.
