Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 1130

A vicious, predatory gleam flashed in Barton's eyes, and a dark, twisted smile curled his lips.

"If he's in such a rush to dig his own grave, I'll be more than happy to bury him."

That morning, Maeve had woken up with her eyelids twitching—a classic superstition warning that trouble was brewing.

"Where exactly are we going?" she asked as the sleek luxury convoy sped down the highway at seven in the evening.

Andres didn't hide his excitement.

"Some old friends flew in from a long way away. They couldn't make the wedding, so they want to meet you in person and drop off a gift."

The visit was completely unexpected, but as their former leader, Andres was eager to show them a good time.

The cars pulled up to the glittering entrance of The Imperial.

Andres took Maeve's hand. Flanked by Murray, Hans, and their security detail, they bypassed the crowds and headed straight to his private domain, Room 1908.

Even before the door opened, loud, boisterous voices echoed from inside.

At the sound of the handle turning, the room went silent. Everyone looked up.

They saw Andres, and immediately, their eyes shifted to the woman standing beside him.

There were three of them in total.

Two men and one woman.

One of the men was massive, a towering Eastern European mix with a rugged, intimidating build.

The other two were Asian.

The man looked to be in his early thirties, his face brutally scarred by a thick, jagged blade mark right across his cheek.

The woman, in her late twenties, was undeniably stunning, with a sharp, lethal kind of beauty.

All three of them radiated a raw, blood-soaked danger that completely clashed with Aethelburg's polished high society.

Seeing Andres step inside, the trio instantly snapped to their feet, their voices booming in unison, "Boss!"

Andres walked over, pulling the two men into fierce, brotherly hugs.

"Everyone, this is my wife, Maeve," Andres introduced proudly.

The massive Eastern European man grinned, his voice echoing loudly. "Nice to meet you, Boss's Wife!"

Andres chuckled, gesturing to the man. "This guy is—"

"Raven!" Maeve interrupted smoothly, perfectly predicting the name.

Raven blinked, completely caught off guard. "You know me?"

"I've heard your voice on video calls," Maeve said with a wry smile. "You were the one enthusiastically trying to sell Andres on the 'miracle benefits' of Angola Bark."

Raven stared at her for a second before bursting into roaring laughter.

"Damn, Boss's Wife, you have a terrifying memory! Boss, you must be bragging about my exploits to her behind closed doors."

"Don't flatter yourself. I've never mentioned you," Andres replied smoothly. He was just as surprised that Maeve had recognized him instantly.

Before Raven could recover, Maeve turned her gaze to the man with the scarred face.

"And you go by Mr. Q. You carved out your own territory in Africa when you were only seventeen. You currently command a mercenary army of at least twenty thousand men, and your name carries serious weight in the region. That scar on your face? It's your ultimate trophy."
