Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 1032

"Don't worry, Mr. Reed. With you setting such an excellent example, the Grovers' bankruptcy isn't far off," Andres assured him.

"Also, regarding Maeve and me... given your resources, I'm sure you've already heard the news."

"The wedding is set for the sixth of next month, right here at this hotel. I'd be honored to have you attend."

Titus stared at him unblinking, before dropping an unexpected comment. "You're a lot like Charlie Wilson."

Andres stiffened slightly, surprised that Titus would bring up Charlie.

But Titus's next words left him completely speechless.

"You're both incredibly annoying."

Andres didn't know how to respond to that.

Had he just landed on his brother-in-law's blacklist?

Checking his watch, Titus stood up.

"I have a five o'clock flight. I'm leaving."

Andres rose to his feet as well.

"Heading back to Gotham?"

Titus neither confirmed nor denied it.

He cast one final glance at Maeve's bedroom door, muttered, "Take good care of her," and walked out without looking back.

By the time Maeve woke up, it was already dark outside.

Andres was sitting at a desk by the floor-to-ceiling windows, catching up on the day's news.

Hearing her stir, he casually shut his laptop.

He walked over and handed her a glass of warm water, his lips curving into a teasing smile. "You claimed you weren't tired, yet you slept for five hours."

Maeve took the glass and gulped down some water.

Noticing how quiet the suite was, she asked, "Where's Titus?"

Andres sat on the edge of the mattress.

"He caught a five o'clock flight back to Gotham."

Titus knew about her fated connection to Andres, and he fully understood Andres's link to Charlie Wilson.

The only reason he had stormed into Aethelburg to grill her was because he had to find out about his sister's marriage from the internet, rather than from her directly.

In his eyes, his beloved sister's wedding was a monumental event, and he deserved to hear it from her own lips.

That was exactly why Maeve had been so furious when Andres posted their marriage certificate without her permission.

Kicking her brother's hornet nest meant she was going to have to deal with his petty revenge later.

Andres clearly hadn't grasped the gravity of the situation.

"So, Maeve, when exactly are you going to tell me your full story?"

If Titus hadn't shown up today, Andres would still be in the dark about his own wife's true identity.

Maeve felt genuinely wronged.

"Aside from Luka Morales not being my real father, you already know everything."

"If I left anything else out, it's just because it slipped my mind. I promise I wasn't deliberately keeping secrets from you."
