Sensing the genuine goodwill coming from Claudia, the usually aloof Maeve offered a polite smile in return.

Andres chuckled. "You think Barton isn't good enough for Claudia?"

Maeve shrugged. "I guess this is the kind of tragedy arranged marriages create."

During the meal, Maeve received a call from Quinn Hayes, frantically explaining why Griffin had been at his villa.
