Claimed By The Rogue Alpha novel Chapter 65

==Matteo==

A ray of sunlight slipped in from the tiny slit created by the curtains. Judging from how bright the light was, it ought to be around eight.

I laid on the bed with someone beside me. Her blond head was gently placed on my arm and her signature scent seduced my nostrils. Last night came flashing before me, with such force I couldn't help but shut my eyes. I'd had sex with Olivia. I shut my eyes, as memories if last night crept in. I… I'd had sex with Olivia. And it wasn't just sex, sex, this was sex. The pure definition of it.

I breathed out. I wasn't going ti lie, it was hard fir me ti come to terms with that fact. Because for all it was worth, that didn't feel like sex between a novice and a pro. That sounded pretentuous, correct, but it was the fact. Olivia was a virgin, or rather had been a virgin. How could she have possibly know where my weak spots. And the damn girl was twenty-one. Twenty-one years of no sex, so why did she suddenly want to break it? Why?

I glanced down at her as she slept silently. Her breath brushed against my chest. This sleeping angel had almost been the death of me last night. Who knew she was this good? I mean, those kisses were out of this world. Completely. The couple of times we'd kissed, she sure entranced me. Last night, however, was something else.

I tried to brush away some strands off her face, but froze. My tongue went dry. I was questioning myself. Had I done the right thing by sleeping with her? Well, quite frankly, I'd always wanted to have sex with her. Right from the day we kissed in the maze, but…

But… A sigh left my lips. No, I wasn't good for her. I'd never be. I wasn't what she needed. I'd known this, but my dumb ass self went ahead to tell her I had fallen in love. The foolishness in my action pushed me to jam my teeth together. As if. My remorse wasn't going to change anything. It wouldn't erase the memories of last night from her mind. Wasn't that how ladies were?

All this was because of Angela De L Crux. Screw her. My gaze went back to Olivia who was nowhere near coming awake. I didn't know if I should be alarmed or not, given how brazen her acts were. Was this the Olivia a knew? Had she been the one to shut my up with a kiss, that sense-numbing kiss? Had she actually gotten hold of my dick and stoke it with fervour? And even thinking about it now, got me hard. I groaned. Fuck, Olivia.

Slowly, I pulled her head away from my arm. She wriggled, giving out a little tiny moan. It turned me one, but almost immediately, my arousal died. I realised the sound could have been born out of pain. Surely, she'd feel sore. What have I gotten myself into? No doubt I liked Olivia, no doubt I had gotten crazy over her. But then what? Would my feelings go beyond that—mere feelings? Or would I get the chance to start up something serious with her? I knew the answer. No chance that was going to happen.

Our liaison hadn't ended in the maze. We made it to my room where a more heated passion erupted. Again, I wondered anew. Was this actually Olivia? I turned to look at her tiny delicate form that was covered by the duvet. Her hair strewn here and there. Everything, from her gently shut eyes to the rash scars, pointed at her being the true Olivia I knew. My forbidden passion. Yet again, a silver of doubt sat deep within me.

Or perhaps, I had underestimated her. But could I be blamed though. Olivia had been a virgin up to last night for fucksake. I didn't know virgins to be this experienced.

Then all of a sudden, she stirred. Her eyes fluttering open. They were dazed for a while before they finally snapped open.

I couldn't read the expression on her face. She seemed to be lost, because she squinted. Then, realisation set in and she gasped, jerking from the bed. She lifted the duvet off her chest slightly, and what she saw spritzed the colour red on her face. I knew it. She hadn't been in her right senses last night.

"Shit," she muttered, tugging her hair behind her ear. "Shit."

"Good morning, Olivia." She froze. Then, slowly turned to look at me. Her gaze slipped down to my groin and her cheeks grew ten times redder.

"Look, I'm...I'm sorry. I mean, I didn't mean to…" She shut her eyes. Reopening them, she began rolling out of the bed. She held onto the duvet like it was her lifeline.

"You're sorry for what?"

"I…" She shook her head, pinning her lips shut.

"Did none of that mean anything to you?"

As I said this, I walked up to her. Her fast breathing got to ears, but I chose not to dwell on it. "Because it meant a lot to me."

She glanced at me for a split second, before staring at what I supposed were her toes. "Uhm...uh. Do you mind if I uh." She swallowed. "I mean. The duvet. Can I uhm…"

I furrowed my brow, but then cottoned on what she was saying. "Sure."

She gazed at me her eyes blank. She hadn't expected me to say that?

"Thanks." Wrapping the duvet tighter on her, she moved to the door.

"Where are you going?"

She turned sharply to me. "Uhm, to my room?"

"Why? There's a shower in here. You can use it."

She stopped for a second. Bewilderment plastered on her face. "Uh…" She shook her head. "Okay."

I stood up and she looked away from me, making me remember that I was naked. Ignoring that blatant fact, I walked across her and opened the door to the bathroom, ushering her in. And that was it, she shut the door behind her while I was left thinking:

Wow, this was one hell of a roller coaster.
