Claimed By The Rogue Alpha novel Chapter 23

==Matteo==

I kissed her. Amongst all the most stupid things I'd done in my life, this was the worst. What was I thinking? And no, it hadn't just been some lame type of kiss, this was deep. It was because her moans filled my ears.

I shut my eyes. The sound of her crying out in pleasure had an effect on me. It tickled me. Set my heart on fire. Damn, man. Damn.

How could I possibly have resisted her? She was…drop dead gorgeous. And had this insane sex appeal with all the dampness hovering around her. I couldn’t take my eyes off her legs, the way her thigh was exposed by the short piece of clothing and the way her little cleavage called on to me. I was struck. I couldn’t believe this was the Olivia I knew. There was no way I could believe that. And in that moment I gave into temptation. I groped her like the hungry wolf I was. I wanted more, I didn’t care that we were out in the open. Didn’t care that the guards were around. I wanted to fuck her. Hard.

But there she came up with this narrative of having her period. Stupid.

In a way, I was glad that was the case. Only then did I get a grip on myself.

I cursed. I had to stop this. I had to quench the feelings. This was my slave for crying out loud. But then, I couldn’t ignore the signs. That smell of frangipani. I couldn’t for the life of me play a blind eye to it.

I sighed. Some bunch of stupid flowers. Olivia was not my type; I wasn’t meant for anyone. I decided to quench the feelings like I said, and pretend as though none of that happened. It was better that way.

I looked around me, taking my eyes to the books om the wall. I’d been in the chamber for about an hour now, and no matter how hard I tried to concentrate,I couldn’t. I couldn’t bring myself to focus on the words on paper. All the because of… Olivia. The bitch.

I groaned, dragging my palm down my face. Why did she have to look that seductive? Why? And why did I have to be such a slag? I’d seen better girls. Talk about the big boobs and voluptuous asses, not Olivia. She was basically a normal, ordinary girl with a cup size of 32A. Yeah. Pretty small, but somehow she managed to have me defenseless.

Can you hear yourself? You've suddenly grown weak. I stood up from my armchair. Staying here wasn’t doing anything to help me. I needed some gateaway. Yes. A walk in the garden should do.

I left the room and got outside in no time. The sun was mild, sky as clear as it could be and the air crispy. A little gardening should get me busy. I summoned a guard to get me some tools. With that, I set off to the garden.

There. She looked at me. The shine falling from her eyes. She swallowed and returned to the berries she was looking at.

“I’m talking to you?” I sneered, turning to face her. Gradually, a smile appeared on her face. “I knew it.”

“Knew what?”

“That yesterday meant nothing to you. The kiss…” she halted before continuing. “Everything was a sham.”

I looked at her. Looked at her smile that didn’t reach her eyes. She didn’t speak any more words as she turned to leave. I stood, looking at the spot she had been standing on, feeling as though something had been removed from me. Her words played in my head. The kiss meant nothing to you. I swallowed.

But I shook my head. Of course, yes. Yes, the kiss meant nothing. I said, convincing myself, but deep down I knew otherwise.
