Claimed By The Rogue Alpha novel Chapter 21

==Olivia==

Shit. What did I just do? What? Oh my God. I hastened my pace to the backdoor. I gotta get out. Anywhere. I expected that Matteo would yell out to his servants. He then would instruct them to drag my butt to his room. Heaven only knew what would become of me.

I eventually made it to the backdoor, having my fingers crossed that the door was unlocked. Luckily, it was. I sighed. Okay, okay, good. In one swift move, I pulled the door open. The rain charged at me. I yelped. It was cold. I gulped, taking my eyes back inside. Should I or should I not head out. I thought about all the horrible things Matteo could do to me, but couldn’t come up with anything. That terrified me.

This meant only one thing. Head the hell out!

I bottled my fright and stepped outside. It wasn’t just an ordinary rain. This was a storm. The wind blew fiercely, swaying the rain drops here and there. My dress rose with the wind, but I didn’t bother to keep it from flying. I didn’t care anymore. It didn’t matter. Matteo saw me as a slut, I might as well let the wind do its thing.

I dived into the rain, biting down on my lips. It was quite blurry here, but I wasn’t going to give up. Chances were that all the servants were in the building or in their respective quarters. No one would see me leave here. And so, I braced up and continued walking.

It began to get uncomfortable to walk. My dress was plastered in between my thighs. Eventually, I got to the end of the maze on the other size and started racing for the gate.

To my horror, three guards came out of nowhere. I cussed. I wasn’t going to back down easily. There was another way, yes. The backyard. Although treacherous with its boulders and bushes. But again, I didn’t mind. What mattered most was that I made an escape. So, I turned the other way, and skipped off. I decided to follow the maze as that would confuse my pursuers, but later one, I realised the foolishness in what I’d done. They surely would surround me even before I made it out. Shit.

Shit, Olivia! Rather than come out from the other side, I’d remain here. Sure, I’d be whipped with cold, but that was way better than being captured. I slipped into one of the spaces and rested on the bush.

Moments later, footsteps started to draw close. My heart leapt. Oh no! No, no, no! I tried to stay put. They just might not make it here.

I was wrong.

The footsteps got incredibly close; I almost peed on myself. I pulled from the bushes and retracted deep into the space. Thankfully, it wasn’t a dead end. I peeked to make sure that the coast was clear before getting into another space. Tiptoeing, I walked into yet another space. I sighed.

“That was close. I just have to—”

“Surprise.”

I screeched, almost falling unconscious. Matteo. He was smiling menacing at me.

“You stay away from me.” I say, taking a step back.

“You’ve got nowhere to hide,” he said.

I didn’t listen to him. Instead, I walked away. The rain had reduced a notch, but I was finding it difficult to manoeuver through the maze. For one, my inside was freezing. I could barely stand.

Wrapping my arms around my midsection, I continued. I jammed my mouth close, not wanting my teeth to clatter.

I made it to what appeared to be a T-junction, and gasped when I saw Matteo at the far end. I was stuck.

“What do you want from me? Why not let me be, for chrissake.”

“You spat on me. What makes you think I’ll let that slide.”

I sighed. “Let me go, Matteo please. I can’t do this anymore.”

He began advancing towards me. Somehow, my attention was drawn to his chest. His black T-shirt clung on him like a second skin, bringing to light his well chiseled abs. My legs gave out and I slipped to the ground, only to be held by Matteo. His arms circled the small of my back as he bent towards me.

His dark hair, wet from the rain, dripped with water. A thin stream of water ran from his brow, down to his nose. His eye lashes were pleasantly wet. I couldn’t stop staring. I could say why.

Matteo had really blue eyes that were quite unique. I knew them to be pure blue. But now…they just seemed dark.

I gulped, and his eyes followed the movement of my throat. Fuck, he noticed.

“Tell me something I don’t know, Olivia.”

I tilted my head, wanting to take it all in. His fingers that had rested around my panties slipped inside. They caressed my groin and I cried out in pleasure. I am dying. Fuck.

“I want you. Olivia.”

I couldn’t find the words to say. Instead, I moaned.

“I fucking do,” he said. His fingers after caressing me, slipped further inside, drawing close to my G-spot. Instantly, I gasped.

“Wait!”

He stopped.

“Don’t. I’m on my period, remember?” That was true, but it wasn’t the reasons I wanted our act to end. I wasn’t ready.

“Oh.” If he was disappointed, he didn’t show it. He pulled away from me, and I caught a glimpse of his boner. My cheek flushed.

We remained silent for some time, as I caught my breath. The kiss… When last did I have a kiss. And to be fair, I hadn’t had one this good before. But sadly, it came from the wrong person. It came from Matteo who had a reputation for being insufferable.

But then… I groaned. There were too many buts.

“Olivia…”

I looked up instantly at him. There was a new countenance he wore. One that I couldn’t name.

“I don’t want you to leave.”
