Claimed By The Mafia Don (Ariella and Asher) novel Chapter 471

ARIELLA

Tears burned my eyes.

I held Leon tighter.

"I'm going to make sure that happens. It will be fulfilled, even if it's the last thing I do."

Asher's gaze immediately went toward the gun pointed at us, and I saw it. The smallest movement, the slight tightening of his jaw and the way his eyes changed.

He was calculating and trying to find a way out, trying to save us.

"He's not going to shoot them," Yuri said calmly, not bothered by his brother's words.

He looked toward his men.

"Collect those weapons."

But before anyone could move, Bastian adjusted his grip on the gun, and His finger pressed harder against the trigger.

"Do not test me." His voice was low and Dangerous. "You know how fast I am with guns."

His eyes never left Yuri.

"I could just go....pop, pop."

My breath caught.

"Before the other bullets even reach me, I would have already killed them," Bastian said with a smile. " I have nothing to lose but take them with me."

Silence. Nobody moved. Nobody dared to, because everyone knew Bastian wasn't bluffing. And for the first time that night, even the men surrounding us looked uncertain.

Because they weren't dealing with a man seeking revenge anymore. They were dealing with a man who had nothing left to lose. His confidence was almost terrifying.

"And don't forget..." His eyes moved toward Yuri. "You will have to explain all of this to your father." A cold smile crossed his face.

"The Pakhan." He tilted his head. "You remember him, don't you?"

Yuri's expression remained unreadable.

"He doesn't want me dead. Not one of his precious sons, the one left that listens...." Bastian tightened his grip on the gun.

"He wants revenge." His smile widened. "He will not forgive your betrayal."

For a moment, Yuri didn't respond. He actually seemed to think about it. And then... Something changed. His eyes brightened slightly.

"Just one problem with that."

Bastian's smile faded.

"And what is that?"

Yuri looked directly at him.

"The Pakhan is already dead."

Silence. Complete silence.

"What? The word left Bastian's mouth before he could stop it.

For the first time that night... He looked genuinely shocked. He hadn't known.

His grip on the gun loosened slightly. Only for a second. But it was enough. Because suddenly, someone moved. A figure appeared behind him and struck his arm hard. The gun flew from his hand, and then... Everything seemed to have exploded.

It was Chaos. Pure chaos. The two brothers collided instantly with Fists, shouting, and Anger. Years of resentment coming out all at once.

I had no idea who had attacked Bastian. I couldn't even process what was happening. All I knew was that danger was everywhere. Men were shouting, Weapons were being raised, and People were moving in every direction.

I only had one thought.... Leon. I immediately pulled him closer and wrapped my arms around him, dragging him away from the fight as much as I could. I didn't care about the brothers, I didn't care about their revenge, and I didn't care about their power.

They stared at each other.

Two men who had lost too much.

"You don't understand what you put me through. What you put our family through....," Bastian said.

"No." Asher's voice was cold. "I understand perfectly." He took a step forward. "You lost people you loved." Another step. "You blamed me." Another. "But instead of facing the truth, you destroyed everything around you."

Bastian laughed bitterly. "The truth?" His eyes moved toward me. "Your truth?"

"No." He shook his head.

"The truth is that everyone you love eventually pays for what you are." Bastian snapped.

My heart tightened. Asher's expression darkened.

"You don't get to talk about my family."

Bastian smiled.

"Your family?"

He looked toward Leon.

"One's already gone, and another is on her way."

"You....." Asher Didn't finish his sentence as he went after Bastian with a punch, and the two got hold of each other.

Suddenly, another voice cut through.

"Enough!"

Everyone froze.
