Claimed by the Crown Heir novel Chapter 145

Securing these stones meant she could multiply her investment dozens of times over.

With that kind of money, her net worth would skyrocket, and everyone would finally have to look at her with respect!

No one was going to stop her from making a fortune!

George stared at her in sheer disbelief, frozen in place.

He never imagined his own daughter could be this rebellious, completely deaf to reason and blindly plunging forward.

Vanessa took a step forward, her gaze utterly tranquil. "Giselle, this is your money. How you spend it is your business. But think carefully. Once you throw those millions into this, if it turns out to be a scam, it's gone for good."

"No one is going to bail you out of your own arrogance. By the time you realize your mistake, it will be too late for tears."

A few million dollars wasn't an astronomical sum for a corporation, but it was every last cent Elaine had scraped together.

"Stop fear-mongering!" Giselle sneered, entirely consumed by the promise of profit and deaf to any logic.

Victor smoothly slid a tablet across the table, his smile widening. "Giselle, let's not let outsiders ruin our business. Hurry up and finalize it."

Just as Giselle reached for the tablet, Vanessa spoke up again.

"Wait!"

"Vanessa, don't even try to stop me!"

"Read this first. If you still think I'm just fear-mongering after seeing it, then do whatever you want."

Vanessa handed over her phone, displaying the file she had just received.

Giselle hesitated for a second before finally taking the phone. As she read the contents on the screen, the color rapidly drained from her face.

Her unshakeable trust in Victor suddenly fractured, and she found herself unsure of who to believe.

Victor narrowed his eyes dangerously, attempting to sow discord once more. "Don't forget, Giselle, you and Vanessa are bitter rivals. No one wants to see this deal fall through more than she does."

He was right. They were each other's biggest competition. She couldn't fall for Vanessa's tricks!

Before Giselle could even reach the door, two burly bodyguards stepped into her path, blocking the exit.

She spun around. "Mr. Vance, what is the meaning of this?"

"Giselle, I've been in business for decades, and no one has ever played me for a fool!" Victor lit a cigarette, his tone laced with malice. "You were the one who insisted on buying these stones. I turned away other buyers specifically for you."

"Today, you are paying for these goods whether you like it or not!"

"You're trying to force a sale?" Panic flared in Giselle's chest, but she feigned bravado. "Before any transaction is finalized, I have the right to back out!"

She had been skeptical of Vanessa's evidence just moments ago, but seeing Victor's sudden, violent shift in demeanor confirmed it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

If these stones were truly guaranteed to turn a massive profit, why would he be so desperate to force the sale?

Victor scoffed at her naivety, utterly unfazed. "In my house, backing out isn't an option. Until the transfer goes through, you aren't leaving this room."

"Coercion, intimidation, and false imprisonment are all crimes! Are you seriously planning to break the law, Mr. Vance?" Giselle snapped, trying to push her way past the guards again.
