It seemed like this was fate; he decided to kidnap these three children and sell them. 

Nyx was inside the haunted house, playing a puzzle game. 

Back when she lived on Earth, she had never visited an amusement park. 

But in the Empire, she often went out to play. 

However, there were no haunted houses in the Empire’s amusement parks, 

Nyx curiously looked around. The dim environment and eerie music created a terrifying vibe, making one instinctively feel

“Nyx, aren’t you scared?” The female colleagues‘ voices trembled, noticing Nyx seemed unusually calm. 

Nyx shook her head. She had never believed in these things since she was young, and now with the protection of the Divine Tree, she wasn’t afraid of such illusory things. 

Besides, everything here was fake–just props and NPCs played by employees.

Just then, the wardrobe suddenly opened. With a loud crash, a skeleton fell to the ground. 

Aurelius immediately grabbed Nyx, burying his face into her neck, breathing rapidly, as though frightened. 

“Don’t be afraid.” Nyx gently held him, softly patting his back. “it’s all fake” 

She didn’t feel anything unusual at all. After all, no one said that powerful males couldn’t be scared of ghosts. Moreover, it was completely normal for a little kitten to be easily frightened. 

The others fell into silence, and even the employee dressed as a ghost stood frozen. In all his time working here, this was the first time he had seen something like this. 

A man so tall curled up in his girlfriend’s arms, asking for comfort and protection from her. 

Erik was almost laughing with rage, thinking this tiger truly was as shameless as always. 

He raised his hand and grabbed Aurelius by the collar, ripping him away from Nyx. “If you’re scared, you can follow me.” 

He emphasized, his tone full of meaning “Let me protect you”

“No need.” Aurelius took a deep breath. Tim not scared.” 

However, his eyelashes trembled uncontrollable. It looked as if he was trying to feign calmness. 

Nyx’s affection for him only grew, and she took his hand. “Don’t try to act brave. Close your eyes. I’ll guide you.” 

With that, her mind was almost entirely focused on Aurelius. 

With his plan succeeding. Aurelius secretly delighted in it, casting a provocative glance at Erik.

Aurelius obediently lowered his head, but there was a flash of anxiety in his eyes. He didn’t want to be left behind. 

He was racking his brain to find an excuse to follow along when he suddenly noticed Archie with his friends running toward them, shouting. “Something’s happened, dear sister.” 

Nyx turned her attention to them upon hearing, realizing the cubs were missing. 

But she wasn’t overly panicked. “What happened? Speak slowly.” 

Though the cubs were young, they were very strong in combat, equipped with weapons in their Space Buttons, and their Intelligent Brains could quickly contact anyone when need be. Their safety was well ensured. 

Archie’s friends gasped for breath. “Someone’s going to die. Chubby caught a human trafficker, and they’re about to kill 

him.” 

With that, the surroundings fell silent. 

Nyx’s colleagues exchanged confused looks, their faces filled with doubt. They thought, A six–year–old child is about to kill a 

trafficker? 

Nyx’s expression immediately darkened. 

She had forgotten that the cubs didn’t know how fragile Earthlings were. If they acted without caution, they might actually cause someone’s death. “Show me the way. Quick!” she urged. 

A circle of people had gathered around the scene of the incident. 

The human trafficker lay on the ground, barely alive. The head of his bear costume had been knocked askew, exposing his face as the crowd pointed at him and hurled curses. 

“He deserved to be beaten to death.” 

“I think he must’ve fallen by himself. Three kids–how could they beat such a big man?”

The little girl’s parents had already arrived, still shaken, holding their child who had narrowly escaped. They took some time to calm down before handing the candy the child had clutched to the police. “Make sure to punish that heartless bastard. well 

“Don’t worry.” The police assured, carefully sealing the evidence and comforting the victim’s family. 

However, the case still needed further investigation 

The police turned their attention to the three children who were rumored to have knocked the trafficker out with one punch, causing him to vomit blood. 

Archic quickly moved Chubby, Sky, and Ash behind him, pulled out his ID, and quietly explained the situation to the police. 

In an instant, the police’s expressions toward the three little ones changed. They thought, Nyx’s children? No wonder, the witnesses said that the trafficker almost died after just one punch from them! 

“I only hit him lightly.” Chubby raised his hand innocently, as he remebered that Nyx didn’t allow him to beat people. 

If that trafficker hadn’t stopped them from leaving and pulled out a towel soaked with ether to try to cover their mouths, he wouldn’t have fought back. 

“It’s okay. We believe you.” the police, in front of the three well–connected little ones, spoke with the gentlest tone, almost squeaking in their voices. 

When Nyx and her group arrived, the police were even more respectful, apologizing profusely, “We are so sorry for the bad experience caused to you and your children; it was truly our negligence. 

What was supposed to be an ordinary human trafficking case was immediately connected to Nyx, turning it into a huge event that could shake the entire Earth. 

If this impacted Nyx’s opinion of Earth, and in turn, the Beastmen Empire’s stance toward Earth, not only would the trafficker deserve to die, but these local law enforcement officers would also face punishment and be regarded as sinners of the entire planet. 

The police were drenched in sweat and immediately reported the incident to their superiors.
