Seeing Ivy take the hit, Patrick immediately yelled for them to stop.
"Summer, I already told you we're done! I'm not your boyfriend anymore. What gives you the right to bring people here to control me?"
"If you dare touch Ivy again, I will never forgive you."
Patrick was horrified to realize that this absolute lunatic had actually been tracking his every move.
He had fled all the way to Bayshore City—hundreds of miles away—and she still managed to hunt him down.
How exactly did this woman pull that off?
"I'll deal with you in a minute."
Summer ignored Patrick, ordering her bodyguards to pin him down so he wouldn't get in the way.
Turning her attention back to Ivy's swollen, red face, she sneered mercilessly.
"What's wrong, your old man of a husband can't satisfy you? So you had to drag my boyfriend hundreds of miles just to get a hotel room with him?"
"Are you that desperate? That starved for a man?"
Pinned between two massive bodyguards, Ivy couldn't budge an inch.
Her cheeks burned with stinging pain, and her ears were ringing relentlessly.
Staring straight into Summer's arrogant, twisted face, she fired back a warning:
"Did you forget that the last few times you messed with me, it ended terribly for you?"
Ivy had no idea if Alaric would stand up for her this time.
But right now, just to survive, she had to extinguish some of this woman's blazing arrogance.
Otherwise, God only knew what kind of extreme stunts she would pull.
"Oh, bringing that up pisses me off even more."
Summer ground her teeth, her face twisting into an ugly scowl as she glared at Ivy.
"Your husband is so goddamn capable that even Alaric had to bow down and help you get revenge. Yes, I admit I instigated things before, and I took my punishment from him like a champ."
"But this time is completely different! You're cheating on your husband, sleeping around with my boyfriend. You really think I'm just going to swallow that?"
"I'm plastering this all over the internet. I'm going to make sure the whole world condemns you, and your husband spits on you."
"Without your husband's protection, you're absolute trash."
