As he spoke.
He looked toward Forrest, who had remained silent.
Forrest kept both hands rested on his cane, his expression neutral. "What are you suggesting?"
"Removal from his position. With an error of this magnitude, Sebastian is unfit for such a crucial role. He needs to hand over all his current projects to give the company a proper explanation and silence the critics."
Eugene shook his head, sighing as he made his proposal. He added, "I don't mind cleaning up this mess for you. You're still young. Take some time to gain more experience."
This proposal garnered the majority's agreement.
Listening from the sidelines, Raelynn felt her heart race with anxiety.
Sebastian's achievements over the years were undeniable, but the moment this leak occurred, the predators lurking in the shadows rushed out, eager to drag him down. He was under attack from all sides.
Even Cameron wore a triumphant smirk.
Yet Sebastian didn't so much as blink.
He simply held onto that small glass jar of yogurt, which looked entirely out of place in his grip.
Forrest scoffed coldly, turning his gaze to Sebastian. "Do you have nothing to say?"
Sebastian finally looked up. "Is everyone finished?"
His dismissive attitude.
Instantly enraged the executives who already harbored grudges against him. One slammed his hand on the table and stood up. "Mr. Croix, what kind of attitude is that?"
Cameron gloated, "It's not that hard to admit you were wrong. Otherwise, all your years of hard work will go down the drain."
The malice in his eyes was unmistakable.
Suddenly.
Sebastian shifted his gaze to him.
Caught in those predatory, abyssal eyes, Cameron's heart gave a violent lurch.
The next second.
Sebastian spoke, his voice dangerously calm. "Since you're all done, it's my turn."
He looked toward the entrance. "Bring her in."
Raelynn followed his gaze.
But now.
To see her show up in such a tragic state...
Seraphina had clearly lost her mind. The moment she saw Cameron, she lunged forward like a madwoman. "You bastard! You and your mother are monsters! You tried to ship me off to Southeast Asia, and you violently killed the baby inside me! That was your own flesh and blood! You, your mother, and your entire branch of the family deserve to burn in hell!"
"Shut up!"
Cameron, pale and panicked, rushed over to silence her.
But Forrest narrowed his eyes and ordered his men to hold Cameron back.
Seraphina was driven to the brink of insanity. Brenda Polk was a demon; her ruthlessness sent shivers down Seraphina's spine.
If she hadn't gone to Cameron for help, she might have had a chance. She could have stalled for time, or at the very least, avoided this horrific physical and mental torture.
And now...
She had never experienced such agonizing pain!
Seraphina pointed a trembling finger at Cameron. After enduring the brutal retaliation from him and his mother, her eyes burned with pure hatred. "You're all being played for fools! It was Cameron! That bastard forced me to steal the confidential files! He leaked the data and framed Sebastian! I have the recordings! I want him dead! He and Brenda must pay the price!"

The readers' comments on the novel: Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding
Sebastian, the man of few words.... needs to find all the words! Needs to fight for her! On note, seven years seems like a long time for this master plan (which I am sure goes back much farther). Rereading this novel, and it seems like everything has played out in a 5-8 month time span. And I feel like all Sebastian's doings/ plan have not been revealed. I hope we get to see the whole picture and have the resolutions we hope. But seven years of mistreatment, I just don't see Raelynn fully coming back. If these was 2-3 years, maybe, and I know it changes some characters around, but it would still work. Rooting for them!...
Literally on edge!...
No, no, no! Sebastian needs to nip the Zella situation and win Raelynn back! Also, Leo, he is a wildcard for Sebastian's master plan... Sebastian- we know you know, what we know, win your family back!...
I thought now Sebastian and Raelynn will be together now that seraphina is not but you are not letting them to be. Two new female around Sebastian 😭...
I think Ian is sly. He is not what he seems. Sebastian loves Raelyn and they have a daughter together. Besides he has no family to even take care of him. I feel Raelyn should realise that Sebastian is only her true love and go back to him....
The croix family is evil...
