Cameron watched the brutal scene with total indifference. He even poured himself a glass of red wine, entirely unbothered by the horror unfolding in his bedroom.
This was infinitely better than letting a desperate, reckless liability drag him down to hell.
When it was finally over.
Seraphina had endured a level of physical agony that defied human comprehension. Her body convulsed violently, drenched in cold sweat, leaving her a broken, shattered mess.
Her eyes were wide, vacant pools of terror and pain.
Her one piece of leverage had been violently... scraped away.
There was nothing left. Not a single trace remained to prove she had ever carried Cameron's child.
Her bargaining chip was gone.
Which meant her legal loophole to avoid prison had just vanished right along with it.
She was about to face a much worse nightmare.
"No one will ever know what happened here today. And even if you talk, no one will believe a word you say." Brenda sneered, bending down to pat Seraphina's pale, damp cheek. "You should have known this was coming, Seraphina. This is your karma."
Seraphina's eyes were completely unfocused.
Cameron frowned, looking at her with sheer disgust. "What a disaster. I don't even know how she slipped past security. Thank God my wing is isolated and close to the back gates, or Grandpa would have definitely noticed."
He took a sip of his wine.
He glanced at Brenda. "How do we dispose of her?"
Brenda had zero intention of leaving a loose end. "I'll have my people take care of it. She's public enemy number one right now anyway. No one's going to care if she drops off the map."
Threatening to expose her son for corporate espionage? That was a death wish.
But even if she had to die, Brenda wasn't going to let it be quick or painless.
She intended to exact full vengeance for all the headaches this woman had caused.
"You..." Seraphina's soul practically fractured. Desperate to escape, she dragged her agonizingly weak body off the chaise lounge, consumed by total despair. In her wildest nightmares, she never could have imagined she'd end up in a hell like this.
She was desperate to run.
But Brenda had already given the signal. "Take her out quietly. Don't let anyone in the main house see. And make sure she keeps her mouth shut for good."
While the Croix estate plunged into dark, silent conspiracies.
Back at the hospital.
Lily was doing much better.
She had been severely traumatized, but her ability to bounce back completely stunned Raelynn.
The little girl possessed a maturity and eerie, absolute calm that far exceeded her age. It gave Raelynn incredibly mixed feelings, because every time she looked at her daughter right now, she saw Sebastian.
Raelynn brought a stack of new books into the room. The door swung open behind her.
Assuming it was Ian, she didn't even look up as she sliced an apple. "Look what Daddy brought you—"
Lily turned her head, her large eyes blinking in confusion, before she politely said, "Hello, Mister."
Raelynn's knife froze midway through the apple.
She whipped her head around.
And locked eyes with Sebastian's dark, fathomless gaze as he sat there in his wheelchair.

The readers' comments on the novel: Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding
Sebastian, the man of few words.... needs to find all the words! Needs to fight for her! On note, seven years seems like a long time for this master plan (which I am sure goes back much farther). Rereading this novel, and it seems like everything has played out in a 5-8 month time span. And I feel like all Sebastian's doings/ plan have not been revealed. I hope we get to see the whole picture and have the resolutions we hope. But seven years of mistreatment, I just don't see Raelynn fully coming back. If these was 2-3 years, maybe, and I know it changes some characters around, but it would still work. Rooting for them!...
Literally on edge!...
No, no, no! Sebastian needs to nip the Zella situation and win Raelynn back! Also, Leo, he is a wildcard for Sebastian's master plan... Sebastian- we know you know, what we know, win your family back!...
I thought now Sebastian and Raelynn will be together now that seraphina is not but you are not letting them to be. Two new female around Sebastian 😭...
I think Ian is sly. He is not what he seems. Sebastian loves Raelyn and they have a daughter together. Besides he has no family to even take care of him. I feel Raelyn should realise that Sebastian is only her true love and go back to him....
The croix family is evil...
