Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 688

Julian and Quentin Yves also saw the text message.

Quentin's face paled drastically.

Because Seraphina had sent the Yves family a completely different set of demands.

[Seraphina]: I know you suspect Raelynn is your daughter. If you want to confirm it, you have to keep her alive. I also have Sylvia Dalton. Two lives for ten million dollars. If you want to see the show, come to the fifth floor.

Julian let out a furious curse.

He spun around and sprinted toward the stairs.

Quentin's expression was just as grim. Sylvia was actually dragged into this. He rushed upward almost in sync with Julian.

The Grand Hills Resort wasn't a towering skyscraper; it had a comfortable, leisurely height.

The highest point was the Sky Garden on the fifth floor.

Sebastian and Ian arrived first.

Sensing something was wrong, Leo Flynn hurriedly followed them.

The five men converged in the garden.

And took in the scene.

What they saw made everyone inhale sharply.

The fifth-floor garden only had a viewing area at the front. The back was a service passage for landscapers, with no guardrails whatsoever.

And right now, Raelynn was slumped in a chair, her limbs limp, completely unconscious. She wasn't even tied down. The chair was placed right on the edge of the roof.

One slight misstep, and Raelynn would plummet to her death.

On the other side, Sylvia was still conscious, but her hands and feet were bound.

She was also sitting in a chair, backing up against a fifty-foot drop.

Both men looked terrified, their hearts in their throats.

Only Sebastian remained outwardly composed, his gaze unreadable. He took a step forward. "Name your terms."

His brevity was absolute ruthlessness.

Seraphina stared in disbelief. Facing his sheer indifference contorted her features. "Why won't you say something soft to me?! Why won't you just coax me, make me happy for once?!"

Seeing Seraphina about to lose her mind, Julian glared at Sebastian through gritted teeth. He lunged forward, grabbing Sebastian by the collar. "It's just one sentence, Sebastian! Don't you know what she wants to hear?!"

He understood women too well. She just wanted an answer.

Seraphina wanted Sebastian to personally admit he cared about her, that he had liked her.

What was so hard about faking it for a second?

But Sebastian just shot Julian a cold glance. Raising his hand, he twisted Julian's grip off his shirt, his predatory gaze practically bleeding ice. "You want money to leave the country because you're looking for a way out. Right now, the people begging to survive aren't just your hostages; it's you. Besides offering a fair trade, what gives you the right to bargain with me?"
