Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 684

Seraphina clenched her fists so hard her knuckles turned white, her eyes burning with bloodshot rage.

She hadn't eaten or slept in days.

Blanche had been officially arrested, and the odds of overturning the case were zero.

Silas Vance had ruthlessly cut them off, scrambling to save his own skin.

She had absolutely nowhere to turn.

Meanwhile, Raelynn was living like royalty!

Welcomed into the Hudson family as an honored guest, completely unfazed by her divorce. And worse... the Yves family. Raelynn was highly likely the true Yves heiress.

If she hadn't accidentally bumped into Sierra and heard her let it slip.

She would have died never knowing Raelynn's ultimate trump card!

The pure hatred in Seraphina's eyes was impossible to hide. She tried to merge with the crowd flowing through the front doors.

At massive events like this, slipping in unnoticed usually wasn't that difficult.

But.

Before she even reached the main entrance.

She was intercepted. A massive man in a tailored suit, an earpiece securely in place, blocked her path. His muscles practically strained against the fabric. He was clearly professional security.

And there were dozens just like him stationed everywhere.

"Invitation Card," the man demanded, blocking her completely.

Seraphina panicked. "I'm a hotel employee, not a guest."

"Show me your badge," the guard replied, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.

Seraphina gritted her teeth, her eyes manic. She couldn't understand why a simple birthday party had security tighter than a military base.

Furious and acting on pure desperation, she realized forcing her way in was impossible. She would be tackled to the ground instantly.

Spinning around, she sprinted toward the side entrance.

Trying to figure out another plan.

This cake was purely for display.

The actual cake they would eat was waiting on the side.

The crowd gathered toward the center of the room. Ian and Raelynn each took one of Lily's hands, walking her up to the grand cake.

The venue lights dimmed.

Allowing the glow of the candles to take center stage.

Ian looked over at Raelynn. "Let's help her hold the knife together, alright?"

Raelynn thought nothing of it and nodded.

She placed her hand over Lily's, and Ian stepped up close behind her. His arm wrapped around Raelynn, his larger hand completely engulfing hers. The image of the perfect, blissful family of three cutting the cake was seared into the minds of everyone watching.

Sebastian stood in the shadows at the edge of the crowd.

His hands were shoved deep into his pockets, his eyes gleaming with a cold, hollow light in the darkness.

Leo, however, was losing his absolute mind. He whirled around and hissed, "Boss? Are you seriously just going to stand there and watch this? If you let this keep going, they'll be having a second kid before you know it!"
