Qin Nuo had someone count out the Crystal Stones for him and transferred money into his account before sending him on his way.
Carrying bags big and small, Li Chenlin didn’t immediately cross the canyon to the north.
He first had to make a trip to the Southern Country to relocate those willing to leave with him to the Northern Snow Country.

「Meanwhile.」
Bai Su was leading the people in rebuilding the Imperial City.
Yelias and Wen Lan were stubbornly bickering, neither willing to back down.
Sparks were practically flying from their eyes.
Wen Dabao was exasperated. "It’s just one crayfish, isn’t it? Just ask Mom to make some more."
Yelias snorted. "I treated more patients and used more energy today. I should get to eat it!"
Wen Lan retorted, "I was by Bai Su’s side as her personal guard today. My responsibility was immense, so I should eat it!"
Seeing his chance, Wen Dabao reached out, stuffed the crayfish tail into his mouth, and said, "If neither of you are going to eat it, then I will."
Wen Lan was furious. He grabbed Wen Dabao by the back of his collar, ready to give him a spanking.
A large hand suddenly intervened, lifting the little one and tucking him under an arm. "Look at you, all grown up. You can’t even win a squabble over a mouthful of food with a child, and now you want to hit him?"
Hearing the voice, they all looked over and froze.
Wen Dabao looked up, his eyes shining. "Big Dad!"
Hearing the voice, Bai Su came out of the kitchen and saw the travel-worn man standing at the door.
Lu Tingyan saw her, too.
Their eyes met, and the air between them crackled with emotion.
Lu Tingyan set the child down and rushed over, pulling Bai Su into a fierce embrace. His face was filled with the joy of finding her again. "Susu..."
Bai Su breathed a sigh of relief. "I knew it. You remembered."
The moment her Clone sacrificed itself to protect Lu Tingyan, its consciousness hadn’t fully dissipated. It had seen Lu Tingyan—his memories restored—clutching its ashes and weeping in agony.
’Her death must have been the shock that made him recover his memories.’
Lu Tingyan, caring about nothing else, cupped Bai Su’s face and kissed her.
"..." Wen Lan silently covered Wen Dabao’s eyes.
Although Yelias was incredibly jealous, he knew how much Bai Su had missed Lu Tingyan.
’They were bound to be all over each other for a while after such a long separation.’
’It would be completely irrational for him to get jealous now.’
Bai Su’s face flushed red as she struggled. "Don’t... The kids are right here!"
Lu Tingyan paused for a fraction of a second, then swept her up into his arms and headed upstairs.
Bai Su was dying of embarrassment. "Hey! Lu Tingyan, put me down!"
The only response was the SLAM of a door shutting.
’I just want to die,’ Bai Su thought, mortified.
They had just stormed into the room with such fanfare and even locked the door.
’Even an idiot would know what they were about to do in there!’
Lu Tingyan seemed even taller than before, nearly two meters tall. His towering, imposing figure blocked her path, his frame almost twice as broad as hers.
The wave of his agave-scented spiritual power made her heart race even faster. "I... Lu Tingyan, can’t we wait until tonight? Now really isn’t a good time!"
’Being carried into the room right in front of the kids... and it’s not like they’re stupid!’
The mere thought of Wen Dabao knowing what they were up to made her want to dig a hole and crawl into it.
"Can’t we just catch up gently?"
"Lu Tingyan! I missed you so much too, but please, just talk to me first!"
Without another word, Lu Tingyan started pulling off her clothes. "We’ll do it first, talk later!"
Bai Su clutched the last scrap of fabric to her chest pitifully. "Talk first, then do it!"
He pressed down on her without any room for argument. "No!"
He seemed much more domineering than he used to be.
Bai Su was powerless against him. Pushed down, she finally resigned herself to her fate.
Soon, they were tangled together.
Just as Bai Su was about to lose herself in the moment, the System’s voice suddenly chimed in her mind. ’Are you sure you don’t want to get pregnant? The System has a Childbirth Pill that can simplify the process and ensure a painless delivery.’
Bai Su’s expression darkened. ’No, thanks.’
Li Chenlin shook his head in a daze. "What the hell was that?"
"When did Susu get so strong?"
On the upstairs balcony, Lu Tingyan emerged from the room, his face dark as he stared down at Li Chenlin.
Li Chenlin: "..."
Blushing furiously, Bai Su wished a hole would open up and swallow her.
Everyone was present.
Lu Tingyan summoned everyone to the living room.
Li Chenlin watched sourly as the pair came downstairs.
"Susu..."
The blush still hadn’t faded from Bai Su’s face.
She cleared her throat and gave Li Chenlin an awkward pat on the head. "Welcome back."
Li Chenlin looked even more wronged. "Didn’t we agree? You said you’d give me official status when I returned."
Bai Su nodded. "That’s right. As soon as we’re done with business, I’ll go register you."
That seemed to satisfy him.
He then placed the "specialties" he’d brought back from Qin City on the coffee table. "I brought these for you."
The little ones gathered around and asked curiously, "What are these?"
Li Chenlin said proudly, "Crystal Stones, infused with spiritual power. This stuff is pretty potent, so you kids shouldn’t absorb too much."
Wen Lan raised an eyebrow. "Is that all?"
Li Chenlin replied, "There’s more. It’s all on the helicopter."
Lu Tingyan also produced three Crystal Stones.
He had already given Bai Su hers back in the room.
The remaining three were for the other men.
Lu Tingyan then recounted in detail what had happened in the Abyss.
The only one who had been out of the loop was Li Chenlin.
