Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 413

Carson caught Layla’s silent signal. He raised his hand and struck the back of Zeke’s neck.

Zeke’s eyes rolled back, and he collapsed into unconsciousness.

Carson slung Zeke over his back and walked back out of the cave.

Oliver spotted Zeke at once.

Complex emotions played across his face.

He let out a quiet sigh and spoke in a hoarse voice. “It’s like nothing changed for them since the day we parted.”

A sharp thought flashed through Layla’s mind. “Could the energy field be responsible for that?”

Arnold nodded right away. “It does have everything to do with the energy field.”

Everyone turned toward Arnold, waiting for him to keep talking.

Arnold’s gaze shifted.

What lay inside the energy field was enormously complicated.

The royal family had once set up a dedicated research division specifically to study its inner workings.

Yet they had made very little real-world progress up to this point.

Understanding dawned on Layla.

That explained why they had assigned guards to watch over it.

It also explained why they had been willing to sacrifice one of their own sons just to keep the energy secured, despite knowing how dangerously unstable it was.

Undisguised scorn showed in Layla’s eyes.

‘We can hash all that out later,” Carson said in a low, firm tone, closing the subject.

Guided by Arnold, the group soon made their way out of Whispering Maze Wood.

Curiosity drove Layla to question Arnold. “If you could find your way out on your own, why did you stay trapped inside these woods?”

Arnold let out a bitter laugh. “The royal family’s reach stretches far. The second I stepped outside Whispering Maze Wood, they would detect my presence and drag me back.”

He had sacrificed himself for Oliver, but he had never wanted to die.

He would cling to life for as long as he possibly could.

The rest exchanged glances after hearing his reasoning.

His logic made perfect sense.

Vanguard’s live-feed cameras captured Layla’s group bringing two extra people out from the forest.

Viewers in the live-chat reacted in total shock.

[What’s going on here? I thought this was a desolate wasteland planet. Are there wild people living out here?]

[They don’t look like feral primitives to me.]

[Hey, that conscious guy looks familiar. I’ve seen old official photos Prince Oliver released-he’s always right beside him.]

[Yeah, I remember now. He used to be Prince Oliver’s personal bodyguard.]

Someone in the live-chat instantly recognized Arnold.

Arnold grew nervous reading the scrolling real-time comments.

The royal family will learn that I’m still alive.

Layla patted his back in reassurance. “Even if the royal family finds out now, there’s very little they can do.”

She glanced toward Vanguard’s camera crew, a knowing/smile tugging at her lips. “We’re part of a live broadcast program. Vanguard runs 24-hour continuous filming.”

Arnold grasped her meaning immediately.

If the royal family moved against him, they would have to evade Vanguard’s cameras.

With round-the-clock live coverage, every moment would stream out to audiences across the entire star system, so long as he did not deliberately hide from the lenses.

That left the royal family no opening to strike at him in secret.

He looked over at Layla, his tone layered with mixed feelings. “Prince Oliver is truly blessed to have a female like you by his side.”

Oliver overheard every word. A small smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Finally, someone with good taste who realizes how lucky I am to have Layla.

Oliver’s mood brightened, and his steps grew lighter.

Scarlett had already seen the live-chat updates about the two new people rescued from Whispering Maze

Wood.
