There really is something magical about the magnetic connection between people. Whether they’re in tune with each other or not, spending time together or working together will reveal if their values align.
Cheng Su felt like she had a perfect magnetic connection with Zhan Qin. At least, their viewpoints on business were aligned. When everyone agrees, making decisions becomes pretty easy.
"I only have a few days left of my vacation. This past half-year, I’ve almost finished my studies over in Qing City. I’ll really move to Guangcheng once I find the time. For now, you’ll have to manage on your own. Does it feel too overwhelming to handle all by yourself? Should we find a couple more people to help you?" Cheng Su asked Zhan Qin.
Zhan Qin replied, "Handling everything on my own is definitely spreading myself too thin. We’ll need more hands. As for forming a team... let’s first get your personal business registered and set up an assistant group. I’ll handle hiring, how about that?"
"Works for me. I trust your judgment." Cheng Su smiled.
"Aren’t you worried I’ll recruit people close to me and deceive you together?" Zhan Qin raised an eyebrow.
"Would you do that? If you have the skills for that, then go ahead and deceive me." Cheng Su said, "Alright, stop testing me. I’ve mentioned before, since the old man trusts you, I trust you too. And frankly, although you’re my assistant, you’re actually my partner as well. The benefits are yours to enjoy if you can turn around the business under my name."
"You’ve got a big heart!" Zhan Qin refilled the tea for both of them and said, "Back to business, shall we sell this piece of land for start-up funds? If we want to buy another piece, do you have one in mind?"
Cheng Su stood up, walked over to the map of Guangcheng, and folded her arms, gazing at it.
She lightly bit her finger, her mind working quickly. Many financial groups are already mobilizing, and the competition is becoming fierce. Not to mention the local groups, even foreign investment is heating up. Guangcheng, including the surrounding markets, is a very appealing large piece of cake.
