Chapter 645 Provocation And Camping Trap
Crack.
Norman crushed the coffee cup in his grip, killing intent spilling uncontrollably from his eyes.
“Do you really think I won’t lay a hand on you?”
He was dead serious.
But Lucas showed no fear, “You can. But there’s no need.”
Under Tatiana’s guidance, Tammy’s cooking skills improved rapidly.
She could barely pull off a full table of dishes on her own now.
She should have been happy, but one look at Lucas’s increasingly frail appearance killed her smile.
She was born with sharp intuition.
Right now, she could sense a thick, unsettling aura of death lingering around him.
No matter how hard she denied it,
the truth remained unchanged.
An indescribable sorrow slowly crept into her heart.
Tatiana was extremely worried about Tammy.
But she could not step away from her current matters, so she could only comfort her over the phone.
She had to settle the Langstrom family’s affairs as soon as possible.
After laying low for so long, it was finally time to close the net.
The moment the thought crossed her mind, she received an invitation message from Liam
She agreed immediately, then got dressed up carefully.
She knew Liam’s preferences perfectly, so she wore exactly the style he liked.
The second she walked out after changing clothes, she saw someone sitting in the living room.
She raised an eyebrow, “I told you not to come.”
Jasper exuded a heavy, gloomy aura.
His mood turned even worse the moment he saw her outfit.
“Change it. I don’t like it.”
Tatiana shrugged, completely unbothered, “It doesn’t matter if you don’t like it. As long as Liam likes it.”
Insulting.
This was a blatant insult.
Jasper was driven nearly insane. Watching the woman he loved dressing up to please another man trampled his self–esteem completely.
The corners of his eyes turned red, “Do you really have to do this?”
Tatiana knew exactly what he was thinking.
She stopped provoking him and sighed helplessly, “Stop overthinking. I’m just playing the bait. Nothing is going on between us.”
She never took the initiative, never refused, and never took responsibility. She had never admitted anything. All his affection was just his own imagination.
Jasper smiled bitterly, “You’re going to be the death of me.”
“Your life isn’t precious right now. Take good care of yourself. I’m running late, I’m leaving. Don’t stay here too long, and don’t get caught. Understand?”
Jasper nodded reluctantly, but still walked her to the door unwillingly, “Don’t let him touch you, not even a finger. Promise me.”
“It depends on my mood.”
“Tatiana.”
“Stop nagging. I’m leaving.”
She was growing more and more blunt with him.
But this was equal love. She no longer needed to compromise or hold back.
**
Jasper would never force her. He softened his tone helplessly, “I’m begging you.”
Tatiana let out a faint sigh. She suddenly grabbed his collar, pulled his head down, and kissed his lips.
It was quick and fleeting,
No deepening.
But even this was enough to calm the furious man.
Jasper was instantly soothed. He tried leaning in for another kiss, but Tatiana dodged him.
“Your lipstick’s smudged.”
She wiped the lipstick stain off his lips gently.
“Be good.”
She turned and left.
Jasper stood there, staring at her retreating figure with nothing but tender longing in his eyes.
This was truly Tatiana disciplining her overjealous man.
“Believe it if I say I’m selling you off?”
“I believe you. I’m quite valuable after all.”
Liam laughed out loud, “Relax. I could never bear to sell you. I’m taking you somewhere fun.”
The car finally stopped.
They were at a huge lawn.
A wooden gate stood there with words printed on it:
Starry Base Camp.
“Camping?”
“Yes. Have you ever tried it?”
Of course she had. She had endured countless rough nights outdoors.
But she shook her head on the surface, putting on an eager, expectant look.
“Let’s go. Everyone should be here already.”
With that, Liam naturally reached out to hold her hand.
Tatiana originally planned to let him. Moderate physical contact helped advance their fake relationship.
But the moment Jasper’s pitiful, puppy–like expression flashed through her mind, she felt a strange twinge of guilt. She pretended to admire the roadside flowers and pulled her hand. away.
“These roses are beautiful.”
Liam stared at his empty palm, an itchy, restless jealousy gnawing at his heart.
He knew he would never hold her hand so easily again.
“Liam!”
All of Liam’s friends had already arrived.
Every single one of them had a female companion by their side.
Several tents were pitched nearby, and a barbecue grill sizzled with roasting meat.
The atmosphere was lively and relaxed.
The moment Liam walked over with Tatiana, everyone’s eyes turned to them.
Most stares were fixed on Tatiana.
Curiosity, scrutiny, amazement–and mostly pure disbelief.
One of his flatterers hurried over and asked, “Liam, is this your girlfriend?”
