The man raised his arm holding the gun to block the stone.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, the girl had already closed in, grabbing a knife and stabbing toward him.
The man’s face was covered with a black scarf, he wasn’t one of her subordinates, and she showed no mercy with this strike.
The short blade cut through the air, casting a bright flash as the man sneered coldly under the scarf. His right hand, like an eagle’s claw, caught her hand holding the knife. With a light tap, he knocked her knife flying.
As the girl moved again, he had already lifted his other hand, pointing the dark muzzle of the gun at her forehead.
During the fight, the girl’s sunglasses had fallen off, revealing a pair of striking black and white eyes. Her delicate face was covered in sweat, with noticeable flush on her porcelain-white skin, radiating youth.
On her right ear, two small blue earrings glistened in the sunlight streaming through the leaves.
"Who are you?" Mo Bei asked, with a slight frown on her delicate brows, looking at the man in front of her.
"The one who wants to kill you!" the man replied, his voice low and intentionally suppressed, while his hand was already on the trigger.
Mo Bei suddenly glanced behind him, her eyes showing a hint of joy, "Brother, you’re here!"
The man’s eyes flickered with surprise, and taking advantage of his moment of distraction, Mo Bei quickly turned her face to sidestep his gun, raised her hand to grab the gun body, spun her body slickly, and kicked her military boot towards the man’s side face.
The man snapped back just in time, narrowly dodging.
Her boot brushed past his face, not hitting him, but hooking down the scarf he was using to disguise himself.
