caleb had been worried for a long time about whether Henry had backups of the photos or if any of his shady friends had copies of them. He couldn’t help but be filled with rage at the thought of those despicable men seeing Sophia’s incriminating photos, even if they weren’t posted online. Having leamed that those photos were Lake, he couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. 

Henry was just more skilled than Scott, producing more professional and believable photoshopped photos. He had been so enraged at that time that he didn’t notice they were take when be deleted them. 

Upon hearing this, Dominic was rendered utterly speechless with rage. He then said coldly, “I honestly don’t know how I ended up with a son like you, you are, without a doubt, interior to your brother in every way.” 

Caleb’s expression immediately shifted. Everyone had assumed that Caleb was the Lancaster family’s sole heir, but Caleb knew that Dominic had long been involved with another woman and had an illegitimate son. Even though Dominic’s illegitimate son was younger than him, he had already gained admission to a prestigious university abroad and was exemplary in both character and studies 

However, given Caleb’s status as the legitimate son, no matter how outstanding the illegitimate son was, he couldn’t possibly become the heir of the Lancaster Family. It was no longer the case now, though. 

Dominic continued coldly, “I was originally going to make you the sole heir out of respect for your mother, but there’s no way the Lancaster family would allow murderer to be the heir of the family. In addition, I also need to offer a satisfactory solution to the Walkers. Thus, I plan to bring your brother back home and make him the heir of the Lancaster family.” 

Caleb’s complexion immediately drained of color, realizing that he had been abandoned by his family. 

Looking at Caleb, Dominic sighed and continued, “You’re still my son at the end of the day. I’ll arrange a trust fund for you, ensuring you’re financially secure for the rest of your life. You shouldn’t expect anything beyond that, though.” 

Having said that, Dominic left without even bothering to look back. 

Sophia’s time in Mavrosia passed in a blur, and before she knew it, her life abroad gradually settled into a routine. She noticed that Caleb had stopped seeking her out, though she wasn’t actually surprised about it. She had always regarded Caleb as the typical playboy, after all. 

She deduced that her sudden departure had likely sparked a temporary fixation in Caleb, and he had probably grown tired of it or found a new interest after some time. Thus, he eventually lost all interest in chasing after her.

He later bought it back at a high price from the cleaner and had carried it with himever since.
